Ella sat in the locker room as Webber handed them navy blue scrubs. Ella looked together and frowned as she sat next to Alex
"Navy scrubs? Attending scrubs" Meredith said
"You are attendings today" Webber said
"Run the cases, take point, but don't be a fool. If you get in over your head, cry uncle" Webber said
"This could be interesting" Anna said
"Until then ... Congratulations. You've just been promoted" Webber said
"I think I could look hot in these" Ella said
"You look hot in anything" Alex whispered into her ear. She looked to him and smirked. Ella knew how she and Alex were still trying hard to make their relationship work and that they were apartment hunting and it was hard as they hadn't found the perfect place
"Do you think yang is okay" April asked as they looked to them and smiled
"She's messed up from the shooting isn't she" Ella said as Alex smiled
"She's not the only one" Alex said as Anna looked to h and smiled. They all knew the shooting hadn't been easy for any of them
"Well to be fair you lost your baby so that doesn't help as well as your boyfriend being shot by a nut job" Anna said as Ella looked to her and rolled her eyes
"You really know how to make a girl feel better. With your way with words" Ella said as Anna chuckled
"I do try"
"Don't worry it's the Karev family humour" Alex said as Ella chuckled
"Your not wrong" Ella said

Ella walked through the hallway with Alex as she went through the patient chart "how lucky are you to get to play attending with me" Alex said as ella smirked
"Oh I know" she said as he grabbed her lab coat and pulled her to him and smirked as he leant in and kissed her
"You have no idea how much longer how hard this is for me to Keep my hands off of you" he said as she smirked
"I'm just irresistible" Ella said
"You have no idea. I know how hard things have been I do want to make it work with us" he said as she looked to him and smiled

Ella and Alex walked down the hall with mark
"It's my case. Are you gonna hand me over the chart?" Alex asked
" What factors would lead a patient to want breast reduction surgery?" Mark asked
"Uh, neck pain, back pain, balance issues. Hand it over. " Alex said
"Keep trying. " mark said
" I don't know. Maybe she's a prude, Uh, doesn't want everyone staring at her all the time. Maybe she's embarrassed. " Alex said
No, but you're getting warmer. " mark said as They enter the room.
" Hi, I'm Dr. Karev. This is dr kepner" he said as he introduced himself and Ella
