Ella sat in her and Alex's apartment as she sat feeding jasmine. Ella knew that it was a lot to get her head around having her baby. She knew it was a lot to deal with but she knew how she and Alex were managing bad getting their heads around the fact that she had a baby that she didn't know
Ella was heading back to work after a few weeks off and jasmine was going to the crèche "hey are you okay?" Alex asked as he walked into the bedroom with Ella as he handed her a coffee as she looked to him and sighed
"I'm okay. I just don't really want to leave her" she said as Alex picked up the small baby and smiled
"Tell mommy that you will be okay won't you jassy" he said as Ella rolled her eyes at him
"You have got to stop calling her that"
"I made her I'll call her what I like"
"Not alone you didn't I'm the one who went through a traumatic birth. Then she wasn't breathing" Ella said
"I know but she's here now" he said as she smiled
"I know" Ella said as she looked to him as he cradled jasmine and smiled
"It suits you. A baby in your arms I should of let you get me pregnant sooner" she teased
"You just don't want to get out of that bed come on it will be fine. Anna is dying to see you and her surprise niece as she keeps calling her" Alex said as Ella rolled her eyes at him

Ella got to work and smiled as she walked over to Anna "oh how is my surprise niece" Anna asked as Ella glanced to Alex as he carried jasmine carried cot
"You weren't wrong" Ella said
"I told you. I need to get her off to the crèche"
"But I didn't get my cuddles" Anna said as Ella looked to her and chuckled
"Don't you have your own baby to cuddle"
"I do but yours I can give back and she's adorable. A little princess" Anna said as she picked up jasmine from the cot and held her close
"Oh my god you're so cute and precious I could just keep you. Even if you do look like your daddy you poor baby" Anna said as Alex looked to her sister and rolled his eyes
"Can you give me my daughter back now" Alex asked as Ella laughed at them
Anna placed jasmine back and smiled
"Careful mark I think she's after another one" Ella said as Anna rolled her eyes
"Not just yet"

Ella walked into the cafeteria where the other residents were
"Good morning, and, uh, welcome to your final year of residency. Um ... This-this breakfast is the one time when all the fifth years and the attendings will be in the same room, so ... so use your time wisely, residents ... Find a mentor ... Ask questions, get advice on your futures. And, um, I see you're already chatting away, so that's ... that's good. Just carry on" April said
