Ella woke up it was the middle of night. She frowned as she saw that alex sat on the side of the bed as he was feeding jasmine and smiled

"It's okay jassy. I know a lot of people hate daddy for what he had done but mommy still loves daddy and that's all that matters. We need to let your mommy sleep as she needs it as she is going to be an amazing surgeon we can't tell her just how much better that she is then I am but that will be our little secret won't it" Alex said as Ella lay there and watched him and smiled

"Is she okay?" Ella asked half asleep as Alex set down the small baby in her crib and smiled as he got back into bed with her

"She's good. How much of that did you hear" he asked as he pulled her close as she rested her head on his chest and smiled

"Enough" she said as he kissed the top of her head

"It still amazes me how I didn't know you were pregnant how neither of us knew. I mean she's so beautiful obviously she takes after you for that I just can't believe that I managed to make her" he said as she smiled

"Oh trust me I was the pregnant one who didn't put any weight on. No symptoms at all. It was a lot. But she is like you too. She had your eyes and temper" she said as he smiled as he meant in and kissed her

Ella stood in the trauma room with the rest of the residents apart from Meredith as they got to the hospital as Bailey walked in

"She was pinned under her car, her leg was amputated in a pit of dirt, her abdomen is pulp, and her pelvis is probably crushed. You will work together to assess her injuries and repair them." Bailey said

"Oh, in the O.R.? " April asked

"No, at the jiffy lube. Yes, in the O.R. Now Dr. Torres will supervise your work. If you're killing her, she will step in. Otherwise, you're on your own. Don't screw this up like you screw everything else up you've touched lately. Ladies and gentlemen, step away from the patient. " bailey said as the residents rush to begin treating her.

The residents are all working on different parts of the body, with conflicting plans of treatments.

"All right. It's an open book pelvic fracture. And a comminuted femur fracture. " April said

"Has anyone fully examined the stump? " jackson said

"Pneumopericardium and an enlarged cardiac shadow. She needs a chest tube and a C.T. Free fluid" cristina said

" She needs the O.R. An embolization and angio would help stabilize the pelvic bleeding. An angio's just gonna waste time. We could pack her in the O.R. Call the O.R. Tell them to prep for an emergent laparotomy. " alex said

"Hello? A C.T. Excuse me. I'm telling you guys..." April said Owen tries to go in but is stopped by Bailey.

"Oh, no, no. " bailey said

"Something is going on with her heart. " cristina said

"What do you mean, no? That's my patient. " owen said

"We're doing a gunther. "

"What the hell's a gunther? "
