"Who is she?" Remus asked Sirius once he'd shifted back and the black haired man stared at Remus with wide eyes. He seemed bothered.
"Sirius?" He asked and Sirius blinked down at the cat who was laid on her back casually.

"She says her name is Dawna Flynn."

Remus dropped his second cup of tea and Kreacher began babbling curses at him. Remus' eyes darted to the cat who was still on her back but was now watching Remus carefully. The man dug into his pocket and pulled out the article he has taken from the memorial amd unfolded it, smoothing it down on the coffee table. The girl in the photo repeated the same laughing movement before looking away from the camera.

"Dawna Flynn?" Remus asked the cat and she rolled over onto her front and skipped from the couch to the table and pressed her paw to the photo of the girl.
"But that's impossible." He looked towards Sirius who sighed and shrugged.

"Not really, think about it. The chances there was another unregistered animagus is Hogwarts was pretty high as it was such a large school." Sirius suggested. "And then remember how Red turned up out of nowhere and then not only did Dawna's best friend say she'd never seen the cat but her family said the same. And she's lived longer then the common domesticated cat."
Remus saw the sense behind it because it made sense. There were so many coincidences that now they were putting them together it was all making sense.

"That's why you'd always look away when i'd change." Remus blurted the first thought that came to mind and Sirius frowned and the cat looked away almost bashfully.

The room went silent as the realisation hit the two men. They had found Dawna Emilia Flynn, the girl who miraculously dissappeared almost 16 years ago but hadn't really dissappeared but had gotten stuck.

"We need to take her to Dumbledore." Sirius spoke first and Remus looked at him and nodded in agreement.
"That would be smart, we need to get ready." Both of them began rushing around as Red moved back to the couch and laid down with a yawn. She wasn't sure where they were going to take her, but she knew Sirius couldn't travel far due to his name being all over the news.

Despite having just left that morning, Dumbledore didn't seem all that surprised to see Remus again already and smiled kindly at the dog as if he knew who it was. The dog whimpered shyly.

"What brings you here, Remus?" Dumbledore asked and Remus took a shaky breath as he reached up and let Red lick his fingers.

"Its about Dawna Flynn." Remus blabbered in a panic and the cat hopped down to his lap when he sat down in the seat across from Dumbledore.
"Dawna Flynn? Ah..the Hufflepuff who died fifteen years ago?" Dumbledore asked and Remus nodded.
"Yes! Her! But she's not dead sir." He piped and the old man gave gim a pitying look and Remus reeled back with a frown.
"Remus.."

Remus lifted the cat and held her out towards Dumbledore and she hung there limp ans meowed at the old man who stared at her with peculiar interest.

"And how are you so sure Remus?" Dumbledore hummed with a raised brow and Remus placed Red back on his lap.
"Siri- my mate Padfoot is an animagi and he talked to her. He told me what she told him, she got stuck as an animal." Remus explained and Dumbledore nodded slowly and he looked down at the shaggy dog as he spoke the next words.

"And where is this Padfoot?" The headmaster asked and Remus frowned,
"uh he's busy." Remus told him but jumped up a bit.

"Minnie is an animagi right? She can talk to her for us?"

Not even an hour later there were two cats in the room. An orange one and a brown tabby who just stared at eachother.

It fekt like ages before McGonnogal was human again.

"She's definitely an animagi." McGonnogal told Dumbledore whos eyes twinkled at the news. "I think she might actually be Dawna Flynn Albus." The professor told him and the both looked at Red who was licking her paws.

"Is there anything we can do to help her?" Remus asked the two elders and they shared unsure looks.

"We don't know Remus. We'll have to contact a few people before we know for definite. You, Dawna and your dog can stay in one of the spare rooms in the teachers hall." McGonnogal informed him and he nodded
sadly, "We'll akso contact her remaining family aswell."

"Thank you Professors," Remus bowed slightly after helping Red onto his shoulder and shooing Padfoot out of the room.

"We'll get you help Red. I promise you."
