Remus had stuck by his word from the morning before all up until now.

He never thought he'd wake up with red hair splayed over his chest and stomach again. But he did.

Now it wasn't quite what he was used to, it wasn't a small fluffy long haired cat anymore but a, still admittedly small but much larger then a cat, girl. Woman. Red hair a frenzy around her face and over her shoulders and his chest, a pale face rested on him with such light weight that if his eyes didn't work he didn't think he'd have noticed, hands over him; one beside the womans own face and the other still holding his as it had been when he fell asleep, legs tangled with his at an awkward angle that he couldn't even begin to imagine how awkard it was for the woman.

Red was still there with him, admittedly very different but there.

Remus watched her sleep like he would on an ordinary day, with a smile and one hand playing with her fur gently. Except now it was her hair.

He held one of the ends up close to his face and surveyed the split ends. It'd need to be cut quite a few inches. He didn't think Red would mind it too much.

He laid there and watched her till she woke up not too long later.

The first thing she done was look towards Remus and smiled when she found his watching her already. The second thing she done was sit up and stretch then untangle herself from Remus. Remus stared at his own hand for a few moments before he sat up himself and snaked out of bed.

"Morning." She hummed as she twisted herself to sit at the edge of the bed and watched him as he dug through the suitcase.
"Morning," He replied and looked back at her. The unruly mess on her hair was a distraction and he chuckled lowly, "We should do something about your hair Red."

"What?" She asked as he walked over and picked up a bit of her hair and showed her the destroyed ends.
"It's very dead." He told her and watched her face go red and she looked down embarrassed, "I can cut it for you? I do my own so I'm sure I'll be fine doing yours. Besides, spells." He smiled and walked towards the bathroom.

"I'll be quick, just need to shower and we can do your hair." Remus walked in and he had a good shower. It was spent mostly making sure he knew good spells to sort her hair out. When he was out he dried off, shaved, dressed and walked out.

Red was where he'd left her but she was dressed differently. She was wearing the jumper from the day before and a different pair of shorts. The other clothes were embarrassingly crunched into a pile and the jacket was hung on the divan seat by the door.

He put his dirty stuff in a chute and picked up his wand which he left on the side.

"I hope its okay that I.." She gestured fo her clothes, "I may have been a cat but I know that I shouldn't just lounge about in clothes I slept in. Besides I don't have my own clothes."

"That's alright Red, take what you need." He said and he walked towards her with a brush, his wand and a pair of scissors he'd accioed into his hands. "Are you ready for me to tackle your hair?"

He stood by her and she looked down at the hair and fiddled with it for a few moments before she nodded and lifted her still bare feet onto the bed and twisted around so he could get her hair.

He placed the wand and scissors beside her before he brought the brush to her hair and brushed out all the knots and tugs so he could easily see where he had to chop her hair. He was gentle and slow about it, he didn't want to hurt her by accident.

"You'll have to speak to Aurors and a bunch of other ministry officials today," Remus told her, breaking the silence abruptly, "You don't have to rush anything out, you can take your time." The woman shuddered slightly and he smiled somewhat sadly down at her as he placed the brush down.
