One month later.
Hayley's pov
"Mom, Mama, I'm home" Nyra calls happily from the doorway
"We're in the living room with your sister." I reply
Nyra comes in and sits beside us. Braelee gets up and goes and sits on their lap. Nyra wraps her arms around Braelees torso.
"So, seems like someone had a good day." I exclaim
"I may or may not have gotten my report card today. And had a sneaky peek. And have gotten all A's." Nyra smiles
"Really?" I ask
They nod.
"Oh I'm so proud of you." I hug them
"Thanks mom," they reply, "and, please don't get mad at me, but I've got a boyfriend!"
"Why would we be mad?" Jade asks
"I dunno." She shrugs
"We're not. Just, if he hurts you. Imma kick his ass!" I tell her after I block B's ears.
"Thanks Mom, but he is so sweet. His name is Ajax Zaurelli if you want to do your background checks." Ny chuckles, "And he want to meet y'all. If that's ok? Maybe tomorrow night?"
"Sure hon, It's fine." I kiss her head.
"I'm gonna shower and tell him." They hop up and Brae cries.
"Ohhhh! Bee, it's ok dear." I lift her into my arms.
She cuddles against me. Nyra heads upstairs.
"She's so grown up." I sigh and lay my head in Jades shoulder
"I know honeybear." She kisses my head.
Myra runs downstairs in a hoodie and track pants. We settle down up on the couch.
"So, it's Friday! How about MOVIE NIGHT!" I exclaim
"Movie!" Nyra smiles
"MooBy!" Bee smiles
"Yes BeeBear, Movie!" I kiss her head and we get snacks.
I close all the blinds and turn off lights so it's dark. We watch movies.
~~~next night~~~
"Ny, get the door." I call as the bell rings.
Nyra runs downstairs and opens the door. A boy just a bit taller than Nyra walks in. They walk into the room where I am sitting with JJ and Bee.
"Mom, Mama. This is my boyfriend, Ajax." Nyra smiles as Ajax wraps his arm around her.
"It's nice to meet you, Mrs and Mrs Casey!" Ajax smiles
"Please, Hayley and JJ are fine." I smile, "I'm Hayley, this is JJ."
"Nice to meet ya." He smiles
"NyNy!" Brae runs over to her, "Up."
"Ok, Bee Bear!" Nyra lifts her up.
"Who dis?" B asks
"This is NyNy's friend, his name is Ajax. You gonna say hi B?" Nyra tells Brae
"Hi. I Bee!" Brae smiles
"Hi bee, nice to meet you." Ajax smiles
Brae giggles and Nyra puts her down. Brae runs back over to her toys. I smile and run my hand over her hair.
"So, who's hungry?" I ask
"Meeeeee!" Brae exclaims eagerly
"I know Braelee, I do." I laugh, "Can you go and wash your hands upstairs baby girl?"
"Okay Mommy!" Brae runs upstairs.
"Come, take a seat at the table." I hop up and we all walk to the table.
I hear Brae start to come down. Then I hear a tumble. Braelee cries. I get up quickly and run over to the stairs. I see her lying on the floor at the bottom. I run over and lift her into my arms.
"Oh, baby, what happened?" I ask
"I fell." She cuddles me.
"Awwww baby." I soothe, "You want to sit beside mommy for dinner?" I ask
Brae nods and I hold her on my front, her legs wrap around my waist. I get up and we walk to the table. I sit her in the seat beside me. I sit in and we eat some dinner. As soon as we all finish, Braelee clings to me. Nyra and Ajax head upstairs. Soon, the doorbell rings and I open the door, Braelee on my hip. A woman stands there.
"Hi, I'm Tilly, Ajax's Mom." The woman smiles nicely
"Oh, come in," I open the door wider.
She walks in. I follow and go to the stairs.
"NyNy, Ajax's Mom is here." I call
"Coming." Nyra replies
The pair run down. Nyra hugs Ajax.
"Bye Ajax." Nyra tells him
"Bye Nybear." Ajax kisses his head, "and thanks Hayley and JJ, for letting me come over."
"No problem, you make our baby happy, you make us happy." I smile,
"Alright, we best be going AJ." Tilly smiles, "Dad is waiting for you to put Lucky to bed. She was crying between the two of us and then we showed her your picture and she immediately stopped crying."
"Ok." Ajax laughs and they leave.
I look down and see Braelee asleep on me. I take her up to her room and lay her in bed. I leave her room and smile. I find JJ. We head in Nyras room and see them lying in bed. They are scrolling through their phone.
"Ok, baby, me and mama are heading to bed. Turn your phone off at 10pm hon." I smile
"Alright, night Mama and Mom." Nyra responds.
We head down to our room and head to bed.
