Sam's POV:
Colby and I were outside filming a video, it was a lovely sunny day in LA so I spontaneously suggested we film outside as we read fan tweets for a vlog. We had seen multiple moving trucks heading next door the past couple of days and joked that we were just outside to be nosy. We practically discarded the video when a pickup truck pulled up to the neighbour's house.
"Dude, I hope they're not moving in today, what if they complain about the noise," Colby commented with wide eyes so I gasped realizing, God, I hope they don't! We're throwing a massive party tonight and we don't want anything to complicate it.
"We can just warn them, right?" I asked but Colby looked at me like it was a stupid idea. We laughed it off. Colby and I moved to see through the small number of trees that blocked our view of the pickup truck's door. We seemed to have completely forgotten about filming as we mentally begged it to be just some more movers. When the door opened we held our breath, begging the universe it was some sweaty old guy ready to move boxes in and then leave again. The door closed behind them, I couldn't see who it was but Colby gasped. "What?" I asked as I stepped closer to him to see. A woman looking around our age stood admiring the house. She was beautiful, there was no denying it, I wouldn't say she's prettier than Kat but I'm biased. I looked at Colby who hadn't taken his eyes off her. His mouth sat open as his eyes attempted to memorize her.
COLBY'S POV:
Even from here, I can see she's beautiful. An angel moved next door! She has long blue-dyed hair that sits in a ponytail that ends halfway down her back, and a grey cap covered her hair at the top, she's pale but it was hard to see her details from this distance, but I could make out the outline of her button nose and dark makeup around her eyes, her lips are dark with lipstick but curled into a smile. She was wearing black leggings and a tight white top, her waist was thin and her ass was plump but not fake. Her boobs seemed perfectly proportionate to the rest of her. She turned to open the back of her pickup truck which was closer to us. She opened the back and started leaning in, her ass pointing right at me. I gulped before clearing my throat but I couldn't take my eyes off her no matter how hard I tried. She pulled a box out of the truck and started walking it to her house and out of my view. It snapped me back into reality and I looked at Sam as I took a deep breath. He was already looking at me, he was grinning widely, his tongue on the inside of his cheek. I chuckled realizing I had been caught staring at her. I adjusted my hair nervously and licked my lips as I checked my peripheral vision to see if she had returned yet. She hadn't. I looked back at Sam to see he hadn't stopped staring at me, now smirking.
"What?" I asked with a nervous chuckle, failing to act oblivious. He laughed before taking off in a run towards her house. "Sam!" I shouted but the woman had returned and looked at the source of the shout. I stepped away not wanting her to see me and think I'm an idiot.
SAM'S POV:
The woman smiled at me in greeting as I continued to run towards her a comfortable distance away. "Hey, I'm Sam," I explained making her smile, as I came to a stop.
"Hi, I'm Danni, it's nice to meet you." She offered her hand out to me to shake, I smiled as I shook her hand. My eyebrows twitched together as I mentally wondered where her accent was from and why she was shaking my hand in greeting, very polite. There was a moment's silence as I tried to figure out her accent, she chuckled. "I'm British," She explained. I exclaimed an 'oh' making her laugh. She saw me trying to figure it out.
"Oh, that's a far move to do by yourself," I commented wanting to know if she was moving alone so she nodded with a smile.
"Yeah, it's going to be weird not knowing anyone here," She chuckled but I smiled.
"Oh, well. We're having a party tonight, you're more than welcome to come," I explained and she smiled apprehensively but chuckled.
"Are you just inviting me so I don't complain about the noise?" She asked making me laugh. I had thought about it before but I wouldn't do that. I'm inviting her to be a good neighbour, kind of. I laughed.
"That's a good idea but no, there will be a bunch of people so you'll have plenty of chances to make friends," I prompted hoping she would accept so I could introduce her to Colby.
"Well, I'm British. I don't even complain if someone got my order completely wrong," She joked making me laugh. "I'll think about it but if I don't make it don't worry about the noise I have great headphones," She joked again earning yet another laugh from me.
"Well, how about I give you my number and you can let me know? People will start arriving around 6 so you have loads of time to think about it," I explained so she smiled as she nodded.
"Yeah, that sounds good." She smiled as she pulled her phone out.
"Cool," I added as I grabbed my phone from my back pocket and copied her number from her phone. "Awesome, I'll text you now so you have my number," I explained as I texted her, her phone pinged showing she had received it.
"Cool, I'll let you know. It was nice meeting you," She added before stepping towards her truck again. I smiled victoriously and started heading back to Colby who was practically peeping around a tree to watch us. I chuckled slightly. "Oh, Danni," I exclaimed as I turned around to face her. She looked back at me with a smile. "You're welcome to bring your boyfriend or whatever," I shrugged playing it cool but she laughed.
"I don't have a boyfriend but that was smooth," She commented with a chuckle.
"Oh, I have a girlfriend," I stammered slightly thinking she had the wrong idea but she laughed.
"Yeah, I saw your phone wallpaper but I'm guessing your friend in the garden doesn't have one," She explained and my mouth opened with shock. I mean, Colby wouldn't be a very good spy but I never even notice her look at him the whole time we were talking. I tightened my lips trying not to laugh, she raised an eyebrow at me and we burst out laughing. She rested against her truck as she laughed showing she found the situation hilarious, she's pretty chill, and that's cool. "Say hi, will you?" She asked so I smiled and headed back to my garden, as soon as I was close enough Colby pulled me out of her view.
"What did you say?" He asked panicking. I chuckled.
"She says hi," I smirked but he looked offended.
"You told her about me?" He asked looking betrayed.
"No, she saw you. She's called Danni, she's British and I invited her to the party," I explained as I shrugged but Colby looked ready to explode.
"What?!" He practically shouted. I was shocked and confused but he took a deep breath. "Dude, you invited her?" He asked in a whisper. My eyebrows knitted together, I am missing something. "I have to go get ready, I don't want her to see me like this. I don't have time," Colby practically ran into the house to start getting ready.
What just happened? He looked the same as he always does, why is he panicking? Does he know it's only 1 o'clock and the party isn't until 6? I shook it off and headed for the camera, turning it off and carrying it inside. Smirking slightly. The camera was on the whole time. I'll have to hide this footage.
