SAM'S POV:

The party was starting to hit off, I laughed with people as I walked through the party and greeted people casually as I looked around. Colby sat in the kitchen, he looked disheartened but Corey was talking to him, he wasn't listening. I checked the time on my phone and saw it was half 6. Please come, Danni! I approached Colby, patting his shoulder before handing him another drink. He smiled sadly at me. "Sam!" Kat called from the hallway practically running. I hurried after her wondering if something had happened but I saw her standing in the window looking out. Confused, I copied her actions and looked out to see Danni standing talking to some random guy I didn't recognize. She was smiling politely and nodded but looked completely bored.

"Is that Danni?" She asked excitedly.

"Yeah, you tell Colby to look alive and I'll get her to come in," I instructed so Kat squealed before hurrying off. I headed to the door pretending to go by chance. I looked at Danni and she smiled happily as soon as she saw me.

"If you'll excuse me," She said to the guy before hurrying towards me. She pulled my arm to guide me inside. "I am so glad you came out, I am too sober." She laughed so I started guiding her to the kitchen where the drinks are and Colby. "I was stuck there for about 10 minutes," She chuckled making me laugh.

"What do you drink?" I asked distracting her when I noticed Kat fixing Colby's hair for him. He instantly looked at her and seemed to hold his breath. She didn't seem to notice him.

"Gin," She chuckled as she squeezed through a few people to follow me.

"Yeah, what flavour?" I asked as she stood beside me looking around.

"Pink if you've got it," She explained so I smiled as I grabbed the bottle and free-poured it, I put a bit much in and chuckled slightly. She laughed beside me. "It's alright," She explained before grabbing the plastic cup and downing the three-a-half shots of gin. She got a shiver down her spine before putting the cup down. "Try again," She commented and we both laughed so I poured her another and added the lemonade. She smiled gratefully and I handed her the drink. "Thank you," She added as she took her first sip and nodded. "It's perfect," She pretended to pull a disgusted face making us laugh again. She's effortlessly funny. I grabbed a white claw and cheered with her making her smile.

COLBY'S POV:

Sam laughed with Danni as I watched them, Sam turned to look at me, and I quickly looked away to look at Kat feeling like my stomach is churning.

"Down this," Kat prompted as she handed me my still-full can of the White claw. I took a deep breath as I nodded and accepted the can from her. I downed the can and it seemed to calm my nerves a little. Kat smiled at me before turning to Sam and Danni as they approached us. I looked at Danni and she was already smiling at me, I panicked. I walked away. Why did I walk away?! I can't do it! She's too attractive! It's one thing admiring her from a distance but seeing her up close, looking at me and the outfit she's wearing. I sighed thinking about her as I dodged through the crowds of people, her skin-tight jeans, her white straps peeking on her shoulders hiding her top with the cropped jumper which lay off one shoulder with a low neckline showing her cleavage, a small bit of white showed from under it. Her hair was down and curled softly at the ends and around her face. She's intimidatingly pretty.

DANNI'S POV:

Sam started leading me to meet some people, I knew instantly it was his girlfriend and the guy in the garden. I recognized the girl from his phone so when I looked at the guy I raised my eyebrows. Wow, this was my first time seeing him and he's cute, verging on hot. He was wearing black jeans and an un-tucked white button-up shirt. I smiled as I admired him as we approached, his hair looks so soft and fluffy like you could run your hands through it for hours, he was clean-shaven and his eyes were a piercing light colour. He noticed me and looked like he was frozen in place before he darted off. I chuckled to myself slightly as I looked at the ground, he seems scared to meet me, it was kind of cute. Sam glanced at me to see me smiling and seemed relieved that I wasn't offended.

"Danni, this is Kat, my girlfriend," Sam explained as we approached the pink-haired girl. She's beautiful. She smiled as she closed the distance between us and hugged me. I'm not much of a hugger but hugged her back anyway with a smile. I was a few inches taller than her but nothing major.

"I love your hair! I was trying to get that colour but it didn't take very well," She explained excitedly making me smile.

"Seriously? I only dyed my hair blue because I couldn't get it to go pink, I wanted a peachy candy floss colour," I remarked but she smiled like she had no idea what I was talking about, my eyebrows twitched with confusion before I realised. "Cotton candy," I explained with a chuckle making her laugh. "Sorry, I'll have to get used to that," I chuckled making Sam and Kat laugh again.

"Colby," Kat started but cut herself off when she realized he wasn't behind her. So, that's his name? It's cute, it matches him. She looked at Sam confused and he shrugged, I could see her thinking of an excuse to say but she couldn't figure out what.

"I think someone shouted to him, I can meet him later," I shrugged and Kat nodded enthusiastically.

"Yeah, I'll go check on him and give him another drink, I think he forgot his," Sam lied making me laugh. They're making this way too obvious!

Kat ended up distracting me by introducing me to as many people as she could and making sure my drink was always full. I had quite a few.

"Hey, you're a gamer and singer," The guy Corey explained as he spilt his drink slightly as he used his hand to point at me. Kat had only just finished saying his name.

"Yeah," I chuckled slightly feeling a little awkward that I was recognized.

"Dude, I watch her streams all the time and you know that song I love-," Corey explained to his girlfriend who laughed beside him. "You chewed me up and spit me out like I was poison in your mouth," Corey began singing my song Part of Me, which I had written and released a few months back. I laughed as I hid my face so my blushing cheeks weren't on display, it still amazes me when people recognise me. I'm not a celebrity by any means but I get recognised now and then. Corey declared that he'd stop singing if I took a photo with him. What a nerd, I chuckled as I stood beside him with a smile as his girlfriend took our photo. She took a few so he had some options, we resorted to pulling faces and ended up just laughing which Devyn was sure to take a picture of. "Thank you," He cheered as he accepted his phone back and looked through the photos. I looked at them too and laughed at some of the photos. "You have to come upstairs and finish this level I have been stuck on for weeks." He slurred making me laugh.

"We'll arrange something, what're your socials?" I asked wanting to help him, he seems genuine enough. A bunch of them must live here, it wasn't surprising, this house is about double the size of mine. Corey stood beside me as he told me his Instagram and I noticed he was already following me. I smirked to myself. He really is a fan. I smiled when I noticed he'd instantly put one of our laughing photos on his story. I shared his story putting it on my own with text: "First person to recognise me in LA! Love my fans" with a laughing emoji. Corey got the notification that I tagged him in my story, I watched as he opened it and couldn't help but smile when he laughed and nodded.
