"You think they're planning the next party?" I questioned in a joking tone making Colby laugh. He nodded as he followed me to the paint cans.

"It wouldn't surprise me if they were setting up already," Colby explained, I laughed at the thought. Colby just smiled at me for a few seconds while I grabbed the paint can I was looking for. Colby instantly held his hand out, offering to carry it. I smiled as I handed him the can that he took with a smile.

"Thank you," I added before we continued down the aisle, I'll need a floor protector, brushes, rollers and a tray. "I just hope you talk to me the whole party," I teased with a smirk. Colby chuckled as he pressed his tongue to the inside of his cheek.

"If you keep saying shit like that I won't," He joked, I tried looking offended but I couldn't as I couldn't stop myself from smiling. Colby did a cute laugh, the kind where all of your teeth are showing. I chuckled as I rolled my eyes.

"I don't think you'd be able to leave me alone that long," I explained with a smirk. Colby chuckled as he nodded. I stopped at the brushes and grabbed what I needed.

"You woke me up this morning, seem's like you're the one who can't leave me alone," He tried but I chuckled, filling my arms with necessities.

"No, Sam told me to wake you but I'm assuming he didn't tell you to copy my outfit so what's your excuse?" I asked leading the way to the cashier and placing my things down. I looked at Colby with a smirk waiting for his response. He widened his eyes and smiled as he nodded. He looked embarrassed as his cheeks started turning red. I watched as he put the paint can on the tabletop.

"For all you know, I could wear this every day," He tried deflecting but I laughed.

"So, If I go on your phone I won't see anything about copying my outfit?" I asked and from his reaction, I knew I was right. His eyes widened again as he showed his teeth. "Oh, now I have to see," I exclaimed with a chuckle stepping forward and closing the space between us. Colby chuckled turning his right hip away from me. I instantly knew his phone must be in that pocket. I laughed to myself knowing Colby will always be easy to read. "Where is it?" I asked purposely aiming for the pocket closest to me to distract him. He chuckled nervously. I stepped forward again putting my hand on his left thigh to "Feel" for his phone. I wish he had a jacket on, it probably looks wrong me grabbing at his jeans pockets but he didn't have any others. Colby chuckled as he turned his hip again but didn't realise I had put my arm around his back. As soon as he turned his hips I had the perfect angle to grab his phone from behind his back.

Colby was laughing but was nervous. I slipped my hand into his pocket quickly grabbing his phone. "What?" He spun around, following my hand but looking at it confused. I hid his phone behind my back, I couldn't stop smiling. I bit my lip as I watched Colby. He quickly tapped all of his pockets realising I did have his phone behind my back. He chuckled, quickly grabbing my shoulders and pulling me into him. I squealed at the motion. A part of me figured he was too shy or awkward to initiate physical contact with me sober. He wrapped his arms around me trying to reach for his phone.

I giggled moving my arm as far away as I could without cutting it off and throwing it across the room. Colby laughed as he used his right arm to keep my body against him. My eyebrow lifted from the surprise, I bit my bottom lip knowing I was blushing from Colby handling me the way he did. Finally finding the courage to look him in the eyes was a mistake. He was already admiring my eyes, seeming to hold his breath as if I had taken it away. His eyes travelled down to my lips, I released my bottom lip with a soft smile and chuckle. Colby's lips were inches from mine. He didn't have to lean in much for us to kiss. I considered just leaning in. I know I would die to kiss him right now and I know he'd kiss me back. I was milliseconds away from doing it when I noticed someone approaching from behind Colby. I sighed slightly but smiled. Colby's smile beamed at me and I knew he hadn't heard the guy approaching the register.

"Colby," I whispered. He smirked when I said his name but I chuckled as I lifted my free hand to put it under his chin. His eyebrows furrowed with confusion. I pushed his chin softly so he was looking at the cashier who put his hand up as a small wave.

"Sorry," Colby chuckled letting go slightly as he spun around me to stand behind me. His chest rested against my back, arms loosely wrapped around me so he was hugging me from behind. I tried my best not to smile but I couldn't help it.

"No need to apologise, it's always nice to see a cute couple," The cashier explained as he began scanning our items. I opened my mouth to correct him.

"Ow," I groaned under my breath out of reflexes. Colby pinched the bare skin on my thigh, high, about an inch above the end of my skirt. My eyebrows furrowed together as I turned slightly to look at him confused. He looked at me with a smirk and mischievous eyes. My breath hitched in my throat and required I swallow to resume breathing. Colby noticed my flustered state and grinned at me, I could only assume he was counting how many times I looked between his gorgeous blue eyes to his plump, kissable, smiling lips. He swooped in, kissing my cheek before resting his chin on my shoulder, and looking at the cashier.

"You hear that babe?" My breath quickened. "He called us cute," He commented as if we were a couple and this happened all the time. I looked at the cashier in complete shock. I smiled to be polite. I wasn't sure if I should thank him or what? My mind swam with thoughts and was blank all at once. Colby called me Babe! He pretended we were a couple! He kissed my cheek! He looked at me like he wanted to eat me! He was hugging me from behind! He nipped my thigh! He went under my skirt! I almost screamed when his phone was quickly snatched from my grasp. I gasped quickly turning to look at him as he smirked trying not to laugh. He completely distracted me, he's evil! I love it.
