"Hey," He called so I turned around putting my bin bag down which was already half full of plastic cups. I'd already filled 3. I smiled as I saw Colby.

"Hey," I replied and he looked around confused noticing only a few people were left inside and it was significantly cleaner, some people helped clean before leaving so a pile of bin bags lay by the door. He chuckled slightly.

"Are you okay?" He asked concerned, I smiled with a chuckle.

"Yeah, I hope I didn't freak you out," I explained, obviously the punch sobered us both up. Colby chuckled.

"No, you're a badass, I'm impressed," He chuckled making me laugh. "Kat's doing okay, she wanted to thank you but she's pretty shaken up," He explained so I nodded understanding. I smiled happily so he smiled back and seemed to sigh. "Oh, shit. You're bleeding," Colby exclaimed looking down at my hand, I brought it up seeing one of my knuckles was bleeding, it's no big deal I can't even feel it. I shrugged but Colby chuckled as he shook his head. He grabbed my hips again and placed me on the kitchen counter. He grabbed a paper towel and wet it before cleaning the mostly drier blood off my knuckle, he stood between my legs again. I tried with all the power within me to not squeeze my legs together and pull him towards me. He was extremely gentle like he was afraid to hurt me. I just admired him for a minute, the smile never leaving my lips. I noticed that his hair was completely dry now and looked even fluffier when it was slightly curly.

"It doesn't hurt you know," I chuckled making him smile. He looked me in the eyes as he licked his lips seeming to ignore my statement. When he finished cleaning it up he smiled at me.

"All better," He added making me laugh.

"Thank you, Doctor Colby," I added making him laugh. He grabbed the sides of my hips and slid me off the counter but didn't hesitate to put me down, I smiled a little disappointed that he didn't hold me against him for a few seconds, I considered calling him out on it but I shouldn't be too forward too quickly. I've probably already made enough of a fool of myself today. Colby stared at me for a minute. I smiled as I admired him back.

"See you next time, Danni," Some random person shouted through clearly leaving. I got a little fright not realizing that someone was still there. I was confused as I was sure I hadn't talked to them but laughed, I seem to have made a great impression.

"I best be going as well, I'll come over to help clean up tomorrow," I explained but Colby looked disheartened.

"No, why don't you stay? We'll keep drinking and we can play drinking games," He asked hopefully but I chuckled.

"My bed is calling me," I chuckled but Colby smiled sadly.

"We have a few beds here are you sure it's not one of them? Mine is particularly loud," he joked making me laugh. He doesn't want me to leave, he's adorable. I chuckled and grabbed a fresh glass and poured some water into it before handing it to Colby.

"Sip, don't guzzle it, it might make you sick, it should help with the hangover tomorrow morning," I explained making him laugh. He took a sip before handing it to me, I laughed as I accepted it and took a sip as well. I handed it back to him before smiling and kissing his cheek. He smiled at me widely, a glisten of hope in his eyes before he licked his lips. I chuckled as I smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow," I added before walking to the door. I looked back to see Colby rushing after me, he approached and walked beside me. I giggled wondering what he was doing but he opened the door for me making me laugh.

"I have to walk you home," He explained as he followed me out the door. I laughed as we walked out of his garden and towards my house. The wind seemed to be sharp as our half-naked bodies instantly got goosebumps from the cold. I chuckled when we were already in my garden. "I would offer you my coat but I don't even have a shirt on," He commented making me burst out laughing, he seemed proud of himself. He took a deep breath. "I don't know if I've told you yet but you're really beautiful," He blurted making me giggle.

"That's good because I think you're really hot," I added playing it off as a joke making him laugh before nodding.

"Well, I think your nose ring is hot..." He paused slightly. "And the rest of you but mainly your nose ring," He semi-joked making me laugh as we made it to my door and turned to smile at him once I unlocked the door but kept it closed. "Goodnight," He commented as he admired me making me smile.

"Goodnight," I smirked as he turned around starting to walk away. He's adorable! He wasn't walking me to the door just to kiss me, he's a gentleman! He looked back at me with a goofy smile before I headed inside and locked the door behind me. I squealed excitedly knowing that without a shadow of a doubt, I like Colby as more than a friend.

I grabbed myself some water and sipped it as I cleaned my makeup off and got changed. I looked at my phone seeing it was 3 am and sighed. I'm still in the British time zone so I feel like I've been up all night. I texted Sam expecting no reply.

"Hey, thank you for inviting me tonight! It's the most fun I've had in a while. (Laughing emoji) I hope you and Kat are okay, I'll be coming over tomorrow to help tidy up, I'll speak to you then," I put my phone on charge before climbing into bed and loving the feel of fresh sheets. I smiled to myself as I thought about Colby and all that happened tonight. I am so lucky I moved in next door to them.
