I cleared my throat, knowing I would have to look away from him soon. I distracted myself with the supplies on the kitchen island, reaching next to me to grab the brushes to take them out of the packaging.

"I'll put the cover down," I explained as I moved to jump off the counter. Colby stepped in front of me, I looked at him confused. He smiled as he grabbed my hips and pulled me to him, I chuckled as slid me down his body. He stopped once I was straddling his crotch. My breath was erratic, I figured he would put me down after the pause like he did at the party but he turned around and started walking to the living room, his eyes glued to mine. He had one hand on my outer thigh and the other on my ass, holding me securely as he carried me. From his subtle smirk, I knew he was trying to act innocent, like he was carrying me like this so he wouldn't drop me but in reality he just wanted to grab my ass. I looked at his lips and eyes as I bit my lip. All I could imagine was making out with him like this, him carrying me to the bedroom and- His chuckle interrupted my thought. I smiled. "What?" I giggled, hoping it wasn't completely obvious that I wanted nothing more than to kiss him right now.

"You must really like being like a teddy bear," He commented as he chuckled but my eyebrows twitched with confusion. His smile spread across his face.

"You just look- I don't know, you just look so happy," He struggled to find the words. I smiled brighter.

"I am," I cheered. He stopped in the living room, I studied his face as he smiled at me innocently. We stood there for a few seconds, just looking into each other's eyes. Colby sighed as he pulled his eyes away. He placed me down with a struggling groan, I chuckled as I shook my head. He laughed.

"We need to start decorating or it will never get done," He chuckled before heading back to the supplies and carrying some stuff in we needed.

Colby and I worked together to put the cover down. I quickly got changed since my leggings were wet and I was wearing Colby's shirt, I didn't want to ruin it. I walked in with the cans of Coke we had forgotten about earlier. He looked at me disappointed, I looked at him confused.

"You got changed," He said in a slightly questioning tone. I chuckled as I smiled.

"Sorry, should I have invited you to watch?" I joked making him chuckle but he smiled as he made deep eye contact with me.

"I just loved seeing you wear my shirt," He said with a shrug like it wasn't a big deal but my heart melted.

"I didn't want to get paint on it," I explained so he smiled as he nodded.

"That's why you're the clever one," He chuckled. I laughed as I placed our drinks down.

Colby decided to use the paint roller while I had the brush to slowly do the edges, Colby made it abundantly clear that he was afraid to use the brush in case he made a mistake.

"It doesn't have to be perfect," I chuckled but he shook his head.

"No way." He practically ran across the room to get away from the brush. I laughed as continued working. Colby started blasting music but used the playlist from the party he had already made. We ended up dancing around and barely even painting. We eventually refound the motivation to keep painting.

It was dark by the time we finished painting, we sat in the middle of the room admiring our work while we finished our drinks.

"It looks really good, thank you for doing almost all of it," I chuckled but Colby smiled at me.

"Are you hungry?" I asked, he nodded as he admired me. I giggled, I feel like he never gets tired of looking at me."Where's your favourite takeaway place?" I asked as I got up and went to the kitchen to grab my phone from my bag. I haven't been on it all day so notifications filled the screen. I ignored them as I walked back to Colby and took a seat beside him, he scootched closer to me so our legs were touching. I smiled brightly at even the simplest touch. I opened up Just Eat and handed the phone to him. He smiled as he accepted the phone and started looking at the restaurants.

"Are you okay with pizza?" He asked continuing to look through the choices.

"Yeah, if there's somewhere that does milkshakes I will die," I explained making him laugh.

"Please don't, we've only just met. I can't lose you yet," He joked, I laughed as I playfully rolled my eyes. He picked a restaurant and added a pizza to the basket before handing me the phone back. I smiled as I looked at him confused.

"You don't want a drink, sides or sauce?" I asked but he just shrugged. I rolled my eyes and passed him the phone back, I knew he was trying to be nice since I was paying. He went to argue but I shut him up.

"If you don't anything I'll just get a pizza as well, you don't want me to suffer do you?" I asked, acting like it would break my heart. He chuckled as he shook his head before going through the menu again.

"You're a bad influence," He chuckled but I looked at him confused.

"Are you on a diet?" I asked so he chuckled. He shook his head looking confused. "Then I'll happily be a bad influence." I shrugged, and he laughed with a bright smile. Once he finished I ordered a cheese pizza, hot dog bites, chilli and an Oreo milkshake. My favourite!

I placed the order, paid on my card and put my phone away. I looked at Colby with a smile, he was already smiling at me, and I giggled.
