DANNI'S POV:

I woke up to the light shining in from the curtainless window. I sighed and wiped my face. I smiled as I grabbed my phone from the bedside table, taking it off charge. I saw the time was 7 a.m. and groaned. I lay in bed for a while scrolling through my phone. I noticed my Instagram had a bunch of notifications. I scrolled through seeing that loads of videos and photos were uploaded from the party, I was tagged in every single one making me smile. I saved some of the videos and photos so posted the ones where I'm still wearing a jumper, I kept the ones where Colby and I are half-naked for myself, and I tagged everyone to give them credit. I scrolled through Instagram and followed a bunch of people who were at the party. I noticed Colby was tagged in some of the videos and photos so indulged in a little stalking. I went on his page smiling like crazy as I admired him. He's undeniably hot!

I decided to get up so I wouldn't look at every one of Colby's photos with the possibility of almost liking one from years ago. I climbed out of bed and made it behind me. I headed to the bathroom but groaned realising that I didn't unpack my towels or toiletries. I opened boxes finding all I needed almost straight away. I played music while I showered, singing along as I cleaned. I smiled in the mirror before brushing my teeth, I want to look good today, I'm seeing Colby. I dried my hair and got started on my makeup, I did a subtle makeup look and black eyeliner around my waterline. I headed to my boxes, searching through for something nice to wear that's thin so I don't overheat. I put on a small black skater skirt and a white tank top on, I did two braids and smiled as I was happy with my look. I pulled a few strands of hair loose around my face before heading downstairs, I looked around the cupboards quickly realising I need to go shopping. I sighed before grabbing my handbag. I headed out, locking the door behind me and heading to my truck.

I arrived at Target with a smile, I've only heard great things about Target so was happy to see it for the first time. I got food, some things I didn't need, and decided to get some things for the crew. I grabbed a couple of painkillers and energy drinks to help with their hangovers, I mentally thanked my mum for passing down the gene which means I don't get hangovers. I finished up my shopping and headed back home. I put everything away before heading to the neighbouring house.

I flattened my hair slightly, nervous. I don't know why I'm nervous to see Colby, I made a fool of myself so many times yesterday but I want Colby to like me, I mean it's clear that he does but I don't want him to change his mind about me. I took a deep breath before knocking on the door. I waited and waited. I checked my phone and noticed Sam hadn't replied and figured he was in bed, it was 9 in the morning so maybe it was a little too early for them. I looked around wondering if I should just go home and wait but decided to try the door handle and realised that it hadn't been locked. I fought a mental battle before just letting myself in and started cleaning. I'm not much of a cleaner but I was happy to clean to make them happy.

I finished cleaning up and took a seat outside beside the pool as I scrolled through my phone. I laughed at my damp jumper and Colby shirt on the floor. Smiling as I remembered last night. A notification popped up so I smiled to see that Sam was awake and texted me. It was 10 o'clock.

"Hey, I've just woken up. Kat's okay thank you so much for last night, I don't think I would have been able to fight him. (laughing emoji) you don't have to help clean I'm just glad you had fun. You and Colby seemed to hit it off. (smirking emoji)"

I laughed before typing away.

"I'm glad Kat is okay I'll have to come and see her when she's feeling a little better. I've finished the cleaning (laughing emoji) I hope you don't mind I have been up for hours so I was a little bored. I'm just sitting by your pool actually but I have painkillers and energy drinks if you need them." I replied with a smile. I sat soaking up the sun a little more before the door opened behind me. I looked over seeing Sam squinting in the sunlight. I laughed as he took a seat beside me.

"Morning." I greeted as I grabbed some painkillers and an energy drink from my handbag.

"Morning, thank you," he growled, his voice scratchy as he accepted the gifts. He took the painkillers and smiled. "Thank you for cleaning, this is the cleanest it ever looked," he joked. We sat in comfortable silence for a moment. I was enjoying the sun but I think Sam was holding in a little sick. "So," Sam smirked as he looked at me, I looked at him apprehensively making us both chuckle. "Colby," he added raising his eyebrows suggestively. We burst out laughing and I blushed slightly.

"Hi," a grumpy and sleepy voice called behind us. We looked back to see Corey. I chuckled before handing him some supplies making him smile happily. "Why are you outside? It's too bright," he complained making us laugh. I rose to my feet, and Sam and I followed him inside.

"You've dodged the question this time," Sam whispered making me laugh as I dodged the interrogation I was sure would have followed.

We took a seat on the couch and ended up chatting, Devyn joined us once she was ready.
