The Bad Batch Story!
The Bad Batch go on an awkward mission.
TW: Punishment, disrespect towards women and violence and gore.
"You expect me to wear THIS?" Omega complained, walking out into the cockpit wearing an old fashioned dress finished off with a corset. "I can't breathe."
"That's the point...all we have to do is retrieve the asset and get outta here. The sooner we do that, the sooner you can breathe freely again," Tech explained.
The group were going undercover on a newly charted planet where their ways were...questionable. It was like they were living in the past. Omega was playing the role of Tech's (whose undercover name was Barry) wife (as they looked around the same age). She hated the plan, but as Tech pointed out, she'd much rather be pretending to be married to her brother than some total stranger.
The bit that she hated the most (apart from the literally breathtaking outfits) was that she had to serve Tech and do what he told her to do...and he had the right to complain about her work. She vowed to keep her emotions in check and to just tell herself they were undercover. This might be fine for Tech's behaviour, but she already felt her anger rising for every minute she spent in her clothes.
"We're approaching," Tech called.
"Ready, Barry?" Omega asked.
"I still hate that name," Tech said.
"Hey! I have to put up with pretending to be your wife! I'm sure you can put up with being called Barry!" Omega said, waving her hands in the air.
Tech landed the ship and the crew went over the plan once more before heading out. Omega and Tech interlocked hands as they walked through the old-fashioned town towards the household they'd be staying with.
"If you faint on me now," Tech said with a low threatening tone.
"Oh, well, you trying wearing this thing!" Omega quietly snapped. "Let's just get this done before I really do faint."
They eventually came across the household's door and Tech knocked on it.
The presumed woman of the house answered the door.
"Ahh, you must be the new couple living with us! Come in, come in," She ushered them in the house, shutting the door behind her.
The woman had blonde hair and light skin with blue eyes. She wore a crimson dress with a black hem with black ruffles at the end of each sleeve. The dress was long and puffy. It had a low-ish cut at the front, exposing her neck and the top of her chest. Her hair was done in a plaited bun secured by black hair pins.
Omega felt small in the presence of such a woman, even if her smile was kind.
"I do like your dress," The woman said, looking at Omega's emerald dress which was a similar design to hers. "I am Sophie Miller."
"Thank you, Sophie..." Omega said, trying her best not to be shy.
Three people came over. One was the husband, and the other two were the children. One was a teenage girl, presumably 14 and the other was a young girl probably around 9 or 10.
