"Next year is senior year and I've done nothing with my life...except for excel in all of my subjects, of course. My teachers, especially Mr Shue, tells me I should get out there, and get social! But...I don't really know how. Maybe I should join one of the clubs? Yes! That's what I'll do! Now...let's see here...Tea Party club? Nope. Diversity club? Hmm...nope. Role Play club? What even is that? Nope. Glee club? Glee club...Hey...Omega's in that club! She said its really fun...and I do like singing...okay! I'll join!"

Tech put his name down on the list of the auditions to get into the Glee club, or the New Directions, as they are referred to. He didn't know what he was getting himself into.

———

"Tech Batch?" Mr Shue called into the mic.

"Hey...um...I'll be singing...You Are the Reason by Calum Scott," Tech said as he walked onto the stage.

As he sang, the rest of the club members watched. Omega smiled proudly.

"Wow, your brother is really talented...he'd be great as a duet partner with me," Rachel said, pretending like she was the star of the club.

"Shut up Rachel," Omega said.

"Yeah. Can you keep your lame ass mouth shut? I'm pretty sure nothing helpful comes out of it," Santana said.

"Guys," Finn said, breaking up the fight.

Once Tech had finished, Mr Shue clapped.

"Well done, results will be out next week," he said.

———

Omega walked towards her brother with excited eyes.

"Hey!" She said. "So...you got into The New Directions!"

"Wait...I did?" Tech asked.

"Yes!" Omega said.

Suddenly, two football players, one of them being Dave Kowalski, three their slushes at Tech and Omega. Omega coughed, wiping the slushy out of her eyes.

"Losers!" The two football players taunted. "I heard The New Directions didn't even PLACE at Regional last year! Ha!"

"Well! We will!" Omega shouted.

———

The New Directions ended up winning 1st place in Sectionals and Regionals, but got last in Nationals due to Rachel and Finn kissing.

———

The next year, the kids were pushed to their limits and they won Sectionals and Regionals, and it was almost time for Nationals.

The kids who were graduating were getting into their colleges, and while some were happy, others were sad.

"I got into the NYADA!" Tech gleefully said.

The rest of the club gasped and cheered. All except Rachel. She went out of the room in tears. Tech followed her.

"Are you alright?" He asked her.

"No...I chocked at my audition for NYADA," Rachel cried. "It's all I've ever wanted...and I'm not mad at you...I'm happy for you, but..."

"Look, we're gonna get you into that school. Miss will come to Nationals and see you perform and then she's gonna let you in and we're gonna go to New York together and go to the same school together. We'll be best buddies!" Tech said. "Have you met my brother, Hunter?"

"No," Rachel said.

"He auditioned to get into NYADA, and he chocked. He was devastated...it was his dream to be...not on Broadway, but to be a star, and he screwed it up," Tech said.

"What'd he do? Did he get into somewhere else?" Rachel tearfully asked.

"No...he gave up on his dream," Tech said. "I don't want you to do that. Keep striving for your dream...one day it will come true. Don't give up like he did."

"What am I to do?" She asked.

"Nationals...show Carmen that you are a star...and that you have what it takes to be in NYADA," Tech said before walking away.

———

A year had passed. The New Directions had won Nationals, and some of them graduated and Tech, Rachel, Kurt and Omega moved to New York and attended NYADA.

"Rachel Berry?" A voice asked, knocking on the door of a dance classroom in NYADA.

"Hello?" Rachel asked as she turned around.

"I'm Hunter..." the voice said, as he looked around. "Tech's brother."

"Hi," Rachel said.

"So this is what it looks like. It was my dream to attend here," Hunter said.

"It's not too late," Rachel said.

"It is," Hunter said. "I don't know how to dance or sing anymore...I have a job now."

Rachel nodded.

"I came to wish you good luck...and I want a ticket to your first show," Hunter said, winking.

"Thank you," Rachel said.

"So...go and be a star...chase your dream until it comes true...cause I know if you work hard enough, it will," Hunter said.

"Some are born great...some archive greatness...and some have greatness thrust upon them."
