For Ahsoka-Ashla-Tano
Bad Batch/ZeldaIt had 2 months. 2 months since Zelda had learned of Tech's demise. She had spent pretty much all of those 2 months in bed.
The strong wall she had put up to protect her feelings—her heart—from all the pain of her losses...was long gone. It had shattered when she learned of what had happened to her Kingdom since the Calamity. So when she was told her dearest friend—the one that wouldn't leave her for a while—had left the world...her heart had no wall to protect her from the dagger that came.
The dagger shattered her heart, the pain tearing her apart. The Bad Batch had come personally to tell her and Link. Other residents were around, and she didn't care how embarrassing it was when she collapsed on the ground, tears streaming down her pale face. She screamed her pain out as Link pulled her up. She cried into his chest.
Zelda sighed, looking at Link cooking in the kitchen. She got up and walked towards him.
"I'm going for a walk."
The sound of her voice startled Link, but he simply nodded and smiled at her. Zelda walked out and closed the door behind her. She walked through the town, villagers looked at her, surprised to see her out.
"Feeling better Zelda?" A lady asked.
"Yes," Zelda said.
She was a little bit, but not completely.
"I'm glad," the lady said, smiling.
Zelda carried on with her walk, people greeting her. By the time she arrived back, the sun had begun to set. Zelda watched Link being out dinner and they sat and silently ate, watching the sun set below the horizon, the sky bleeding into orange and pink colours.
After they ate, Link looked at her.
"Zelda," he said. "I love you."
Zelda was stunned, her words lost. She looked at him, her mouth open. "Link...I...I'm sorry...I'm not ready..."
"Ready for what?" Link asked, sounding disappointed.
"To be in a relationship," Zelda said, looking down.
"You loved him!" Link suddenly said.
Zelda looked down, playing with her fingers.
"You loved him! Why didn't I see it?! I'm such an idiot!" Link said.
"Link...please...lower your voice!" Zelda said. "Yes...I loved him...but he didn't reciprocate...and I had feelings for you, but you were too stubborn to see them!"
"Stubborn?!" Link asked, his anger rising. "I'm not stubborn! You are!"
"What?! I'm not stubborn! And I'm sorry, but I'm allowed to have feelings!" Zelda said.
"Did you two even kiss?!" Link asked. "We did! Did...you even love me when we kissed?!"
"I—"
"To even think that for a second you loved me..." Link said. "I'm leaving!"
"Link...why are you even getting so mad?!" Zelda asked.
Link didn't reply. He left her sitting there, tears streaming down her face. She'd lost yet another friend. She also felt angry. Angry that Link didn't care that she had feelings and that it was going to take her more than 2 months to get other it. Especially since her crush was her great friend and he died.
She stared at the sea blankly, her tears glistening in the moonlight.

V1
I can feel your heart hanging in the air
I'm counting every step as you climb the stairs
It's buried in your bones, I see it in your closed eyes
Turning in, this is harder than we know
We hold it in the most when we're wearing thinChorus
Coming like a hurricane, I take it in real slow
The world is spinning like a weathervane
Fragile and composed
Though I am breaking down again
I am aching now to let you inV2
Seven times again, when you are not awake
Seven times the flame, too much to take
The sky burns red against your skin
The world we know turns in the windChorus
Coming like a hurricane, I take it in real slow
The world is spinning like a weathervane
Fragile and composed
Though I am breaking down again
I am aching now to let you inBridge
It's all we know, all we know, the hurricane
Falling slow, falling slow in the pouring rain
It's all we know, all we know, the hurricane
Falling slow, falling slow in the pouring rain
Watch it go, watch it go, we stay the same
And I don't know, I don't know how it can change
Watch it go, watch it go, we stay the same

A blue glow etched into Zelda's vision. It had a tint of red too. Zelda watched as a blue flame with red bits floated into her hands.
"What are you?" Zelda asked.
She heard a faint whisper, a distant echo.
"A Poe?" Zelda asked.
It was cold to touch. It was a spirit flame, not an actual flame. For a split second, she saw a face in the flame. It was Tech. She gasped, and watched as the Poe disappeared. She knew she had to make things right with Link, and that's what she did. She made things right with Link, telling him she was sorry and that he'd have to give her more time to get over Tech.
He agreed to stay with her and as the years went by, the two fell in love and got married.
But where there is happiness...there is always something else lurking in the darkness that will be ready to pounce. Ready to use its claws to kill all happiness in people's hearts. Ready to tear people apart and rip them to shreds with its claws. Zelda and Link's happiness will not be forever...for a take, a rumour is spread by the wind...that evil will return once again to ruin the world...and nothing will stop it from getting what it wants.
I know it's not what you had in mind, but it had Poes in it...and yeah...sorry.
