☆☆Brecley:
"I just saw Buttercup, she seemed energetic." Frida leaned by my door, her head turning to peek down the hallway. She sighed and fully stepped into my room, closing the door gently behind her. "You okay?"
Her hand made brief contact with my back and I stiffened. Her palm was cold. I felt my bed dip next to me and I turned to find her curly brown locks staring at me. She moved quickly and laid down next to me. "Hey." I mumbled.
"Mm-" her olive and smooth skin complimented the emerald coloured nightie set that she was putting on. Her hands seized the headphones and placed it round her ears for a brief second before she took it off and dropped it on my nightstand. She faced me and I knew that look and what was going to follow next, "–what's up with you?"
"You know, the usual. Waiting out Isobel's wedding so we can leave this place." I shrugged, lightly tapping my hands against my raised thighs, courtesy of my knees being folded. I had socks on so it was okay to have my feet on the bed.
"Is that all?" Frida arched her thick brown brows at me, her voice coming off stronger.
I was proud of how her accent wasn't funny anymore. Back when her family had recently moved to America and she had met Tyler, she had a tough time learning English but now she was fluent. Tyler had to take up Spanish classes in the process of teaching her English so they could communicate better. Now he was very fluent in Spanish, courtesy of Frida.
"Yeah."
"Are you lying?"
"Nope."
"Are you sure?"
I paused, folded my palms against my thighs and just stayed silent for a good couple of minutes.
Frida, along with being Tyler's girlfriend, was my best friend. The fact that we were age mates and I was a girl made things easier for her with Tyler and coping with the new environment. We told each other everything, not only that, Frida was a very observant fellow, she could read people anywhere, anytime and her judgments were never wrong.
And at the moment, I knew she was doing just that, reading me. I couldn't lie to her. Besides, I was sure she must have heard a load of it from Tyler. He told her everything. They were a cute couple, at my detriment most times.
I sighed heavily, not sure what to say to her. Kylo was troubling my head deeply. I didn't know how to go about him or what to do differently for me. I didn't even know how to handle him. Thinking about what he said on the call reminded me of the deal. And it left me with tasking questions that warred my excitement.
Would I be able to change him? Would I be able to make an impact on him enough for him to accept me and let me in? Would I make a difference to him or just be another person to come and go in his life? And the one that gave my heart a piercing pain whenever it popped up; if things didn't go as planned, would I be able to say goodbye to him forever?
I never knew I'd feel this much attached to the enigma. His molecular behaviour and serious personality, was something I had gotten used to. His face, quiet expressions, husky voice and his entire being. I wanted him. I wanted to be more to him. Looking back at the few weeks I've known him, a lot has changed. His coldness towards me was different. He spoke more to me and ignored me less.
My heart fluttered at the memories of how he had kissed me twice in a matter of weeks. But my cheeks burned redder at the memory of how he had kissed me in the bathroom. His kiss was different, it wasn't as gentle or confused as the previous one, it was more demanding and possessive, passionate as well.
His lips were so soft and he tasted like mint mixed with wine. He moved with a pace that was hungry, matching mine. I was getting hot again as heat traveled south, igniting a burning need for him, tingles spiralled in my tummy. His groan and grunts... they were etched into my memory forever, never to be forgotten. I melted into his arms a thousand and one times over.
