3rd Person's POV

Jaze was still driving and it has been an hour and 30 minutes. Only a few minutes left and he would arrived at their destination, he was blasting a music and he didn't noticed that someone was calling him on his phone.

He stopped singing and looked at his phone and saw that Rhyden was calling him. He lowered the volume and quickly answered the call from Rhyden.

"Hey."

"You didn't said na aalis ka na pala, pumunta pa kami sa bahay niyo para kaming tanga rito katok nang katok"

"Di ko naman kailangan magpaalam sainyo."

"Tanginamoah, nasaan ka na ba? Are you there already? Yung number ko ah bigay mo sa pinsan mo bahahaha"

"Tanga."

"Pakyu, anyways, magingat ka nalang sa pagmamaneho, tanga ka pa naman."

"Bye, putangina mo."

"I love you too, Paps. Mamimiss kita!"

Rhyden ended the call and he played the music again, He was starting to feel excited. Nakita na niya ang tindahan na lagi niyang pinupuntahan noong bata pa siya kaya alam na niyang malapit na siya sa lugar nila.

Matapos ang ilang sandali ay nakarating na rin siya sa lugar nila. He looked outside and saw his relatives welcoming and talking to his father and siblings. He suddenly felt nervous but there's nothing he could do now. He's there already.

Agad niyang tinanggal ang susi sa kotse niya at bumaba. Everyone was silent and turned to look at him na para bang hindi nila kilala si Jaze. He stood there completely frozen having a staring contest at everyone.

"Gabriel! Nako, napakalaki mo na!" Agad siyang sinalubong ng yakap ng mga nakapaligid sakanya noong makilala nila kung sino siya. He was still a child when he last visited them, that's why they're shocked to see him all grown up.

Agad siyang nagmano sa mga tiyuhin at tiyahin niya tska nakipag kamay sa mga pinsan at nakipag apir sa mga batang nagtatakbuhan.

"Ano bang pinakain sayo ng mga magulang mo? Parang kahapon lang naiyak ka pa kasi inaasar ka ng mga kuya mo dahil hindi ka makakuha ng mangga sa puno kasi hindi mo maabot!" Pangaasar sakanya ng isa sa mga tiyuhin niya dahilan para mapangiti at mapatawa siya pati na rin ang mga kasama niya.

"Oh! Tito did you know? He's already taken!" Luan said. He smiled when he saw their reaction, magaganda ang ngiting nakapinta sa labi nila noong banggitin ni Luan ang mga salitang iyon.

"Totoo ba? Bakit hindi mo siya sinama rito, para sana makilala namin siya!" Sambit ng tiyahin niya. He suddenly missed him, his touch, his voice, his face, his smiles, everything about him.

He wondered what he is doing right now, he wondered is he's still pouting, frowning, and being sad. Both of them are connected to each other that it felt like they couldn't be far away from one, they could feel each others pain. They know when something's wrong and someone's feeling down.

"Ahh... Ayaw pa po niyang sumama eh, nahihiya pa po siyang magpakilala sainyo, tska sabi niya rin maganda opportunity to para magkaroon kami ng bonding time ni Dad." He answered honestly and they started nodding. Lumingon siya at nakitang nagpprepare na sila ng makakain.

"Ilalagay ko lang po itong mga gamit ko sa kwarto." He said before he started walking towards the house.

Malaki ang bahay na naipagawa ng lolo at lola niya, sakto para sa mga anak, at mga apo nito. Jaze was one of the favorite grandkids kaya mayroon siyang sariling kwarto.

He opened the door and saw that everything was cleaned and comfortable. Nakabukas ang bintana at tanaw ang dagat hindi kalayuan pati na rin ang mga malalaki at mamagandang puno na inaakyat nila noong mga bata pa lamang sila.

Inilapat niya ang katawan sa kama habang nakatingin sa kisame. He was feeling tired after a two hour drive he wanted to take a rest pero alam niyang hindi niya magagawa iyon dahil naghahanda na sila ng mga pagkain kasama na ron ang maraming tanong.

He felt lonely and sad, he took his phone out to see if Kei had sent him any messages pero noong buksan niya ang tanging message na nakita niya lang ay ang pangaasar sakanya ni Rhyden. He decided to dial his phone number and call him to see how he's doing.

"Hello, love!"

A pretty smile curved into his lips the moment he heard his voice, hearing his voice gave him comfort and loads and loads of happiness.

"Jaze? Why did you call? Nakarating ka na ba sa laguna?"

All he wanted was to hear his voice, he doesn't want to speak, he doesn't want to answer his questions all he wants was to hear his voice.

"Tulog ka ba?"

"Hey?"

"Okay... I miss you..."

"Jaze, I'll end the call na if you don't want to talk."

"No... Don't, please."

"I missed you, I just wanted to hear your angelic voice."

"Hiii! How are you? You sound tired..."

"Hm? I'm not, Medyo pagod lang ako dahil sa pagmamaneho pero nagpapahinga na ako. How about you, Lovely? How are you?"

"I'm at the mall, I was going to buy a present for you sana and surprise you pagkauwi mo kaso I got too excited kaya sinabi ko na hehe"

"Oh, Then I am excited to see what it is. Are you with Aeron?"

"No, I'm alone.."

"What? Why, you should've asked Aeron, Miko, or CJ to come with you."

"Hindi nakakahiya kasi, They're so busy these days eh... I am done buying what I need naman na kaya pauwi na rin ako..."

"Don't worry, I'll be okay!"

He was about to speak again but his uncle knocked on his door and invited him to come outside to eat. He answered him with a nod and signalled him that he'll be going.

"Well... I trust you, I need to go now, take care okay? I love you."

"I love you more, Jaze!"

He ended the phone call with a smile on his face, he then went outside again to eat. Noong makalabas siya, lahat sila ay nagsisimula nang kumain at magkwentuhan pati na rin ang magtawanan.

He sat next to his sister and listened to everyone's stories. Nagsimula siyang kumain habang mariin siyang nakikinig sa mga kwento at mga salita nila na para bang hindi nauubos.

While he was eating hindi mawala sa isip niya ang kalagayan ni Kei, He was okay, he sounded so alive and so lovely but still Jaze was worried knowing he wasn't there next to him and it felt new for the both of them.

But just like he said, he trust him, he's confident that he'd be okay, alive, and well once he came home. And he wishes nothing but to be next to him already.
