Hoseok looked at the girls with hope in his eyes as he waited to hear their response after his words.
He had politely approached them and had told them that his friends had pushed him to go talk to them and he had ended up doing it so it wouldn't look like he was still stuck on his ex, who had dumped him yesterday after he had brought her here on vacation for a birthday present.
Basically meaning he had concocted a story that would make the girls sympathize with him, as it was known that girls tended to stand by others when it came to feelings.
"Oh my. That must have been harsh on you." Roel seemed to take pity on him immediately, offering him a place to sit at their table.
"Well. It was surely unexpected. But if I am bothering you I will go. I will just tell my friends that you didn't like me." He continued on, now knowing that because of the way he asked for their help, it would be harder for them to refuse.
"No no. Of course, we will help. " Roel assured him of their willingness to help him and Hoseok thanked her before the two of them started the conversation. In the meantime though, SoYi wasn't too convinced by the words of the stranger who seemed friendly, but she was sure that he hadn't come to them just because his friends had pushed him.
"SoYi! Rin! Take a video of us!" SoYi's attention was suddenly drawn to the dance floor where her two sisters were dancing.
"What did they say?" SoYi leaned closer to Rin's ear who was next to her, as due to the music, Yumi's words hadn't reached their ears.
"I think we should take pictures of her?" Rin replied as she noticed the camera signal that Yumi made with her hands so they would understand.
"How can you catch her if they don't stand still for a moment? Let's take a video of them instead." SoYi decided, before opening her phone and taking a few steps closer to the dance floor to get a better view of her sisters.
So as SoYi was concentrating her attention on their cell phone screen, and on catching both Hana and Yumi in the same frame, she inadvertently seemed to have bumped into someone and as she looked to the side she realized that she was the reason the stranger's cell phone was now on the floor and a passerby had just stepped on it.
"Oh God, I am so sorry." She said as the stranger bent down and picked up his phone, finding his screen cracked.
The young man turned and looked at her still silent and SoYi panicked a little as she had destroyed someone's precious object, unintentionally of course.
Does he speak English?
She wondered as he didn't seem to have understood what she said but then she thought it might have been because of the music and he didn't hear her, so she repeated what she said. "I am very sorry for your phone. It wasn't intentional."
Then the young man smiled at her before telling her it was okay and she was confused for a moment as the guy had a very nice smile that caught her off guard.
"No worries." He told her, before turning and walking away towards his table where there were two boys who for some reason looked familiar to her.
Where have I seen them though?
SoYi wondered before she felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to look at Rin.
"Hoseok invited us to go sit at the table with his friends. Tell the rest that we'll be at his table." She said in her ear before she turned and left, not hearing SoYi's voice calling her.
WHAT TABLE, DIDN'T WE SAY WE WOULDN'T BE SEPARATED?
She cried out to herself as she didn't like how they had already started to get out of hand.
