SoYi had just come home from university, feeling tired and in need of sleep but it was six in the afternoon and if she slept now she would surely spend the night awake.

Not to mention the fact that she had work to deal with, so sleep in general wasn't in her plans or her future plans for at least this week.

I think I am starting to pity myself.

She thought to herself as she opened the door to her room and walked in, barely mumbling a hello to Jungkook, who she found in their room and who she startled with her presence, making him quickly hide a guitar he had in his hands that she managed to see pretty well.

"You play the guitar?" She asked him, a spark of excitement in her eyes as she had one herself and had been trying to learn to play for a long time. Of course, she couldn't afford teachers, everything she knew was from free YouTube videos but she liked the guitar.

"No. No, I don't play the guitar, there is no guitar in here" he replied looking her in the eyes.

"Are you kidding me? You hid it under the bed as soon as it came in. I'm not blind." SoYi persisted, feeling insulted for a minute that he wanted to make her look stupid face to face but it didn't take her long to realize that even if he was playing, it was none of her business.

"Forget it. There was no guitar. It's none of my business if there was. Do your job." SoYi gave him a small smile, before walking past him and to her own side of the room, setting her bag aside before approaching the closet to put her jacket down.

"SoYi" Jungkook called her name as she was about to put the hanger back in place, making her turn her head to look at him.

"Do you have time to talk for a moment?" Jungkook got up from his bed, placing his hands in his sweatpants pockets a little awkwardly as he didn't know how to open this conversation. He didn't want to make it sound like something too important nor did he want to seem desperate even though, both were accurate.

"Sure, I have a few minutes before I have to start reading. What is it about?" She closed her closet and approached him, wanting to give him the attention he deserved.

"Well... the other day... I mean the other night. I sang for you...if we can keep this between us, I'd appreciate it." One hand couldn't help but reach for the back of his neck as he spoke, looking at SoYi with hopeful eyes.

"Umm... sure, I suppose I have no reason why I shouldn't do this but, may I ask why no one else should know? It's not like you've committed a crime."

"I just don't like anyone else to know. It's my personal talent, so to speak, and I want to keep it that way." He replied and SoYi nodded her head in affirmation, pretty much understanding. He had every right to do what he wanted with his talent after all and of course, she intended to respect that, though she thought it was a shame that people couldn't hear his voice more often; he certainly had a nice voice.

"Got it. And I shouldn't talk about the guitar either, I assume"

"If it can be about that too...yeah. Although my brothers know I play in a band."

"You play in a band?!" she blurted out in surprise and Jungkook cursed himself inside that he ended up telling her another thing he hadn't let many people know about.

"Uhm... only when I have time. Basketball is my priority."

"Wow, that sounds nice. When I learn well enough I might form a band myself. I've always told the girls to start one for fun, but there's no music talent among us nor there is decent communication." SoYi's words brought a chuckle to Jungkook's lips as the image of what that might be like flashed through his mind and knowing them as well as he knew her, the thought certainly brought a laugh.

--- Change of set---

Taehyung had just entered his room having come back from a photo shoot that had eaten up his whole day. He still hadn't managed to get a foot in his university for this week.

Not that he was too worried about it. Finance was never his strong point. The only reason he had started that school was so he could have a paper and no one could say he became a model because he had no mind for anything else.

"You're finally here!" Rin's voice startled him for a moment, as he hadn't expected to find her there. Usually, when they're home, they're everywhere but the room they share.

"You scared me. Why the excitement?" He asked her as he set his bag down on the desk, in whose chair Rin was sitting.

"I've got news for you. I'm someone that keeps their  word so you'd better keep your mouth shut too." She told him and in no time at all, she had gotten his full attention as of course Rin would only be referring to one thing and that was Irine.

"Come on, seriously? You positively surprise me, kid. I guess you worked hard since you want to live.  You and your secret play toy" Taehyung grabbed the chair she was sitting on and dragged it close to the edge of his bed so he could sit somewhere and have her close at the same time.

"First, don't say such things in this house. Even the walls might be bugged; and secondly, don't call him that, he is my boyfriend." Rin crossed her arms over her chest, giving him an annoyed look.

"Oh, did I offend the love of your life? My apologies, I take it back. "Taehyung laughed, clearly showing that he didn't really mean his apology, which made Rin roll her eyes, annoyed.

Well, you should thank god I can't course you out because you have me in the palm of your hands or else, I would have shown you.

She thought to herself as she let a breath escape her lips to calm her nerves.

"Go ahead and tell me now!"

"I'll tell you, I'll tell you. But explain to me for a moment, what do you have going on with someone called Evie? Because I heard you're going out with her and if you are, then what do you want Irine for? "Rin decided to fish for the information she needed to give Irine first, as she intended to keep her word from both sides in order to keep her secret safe. Now if that would get the two of them further entangled, that was not her problem.

"What? Where did you hear that?"

"Answer me and I'll tell you."

"I don't care about Evie or anybody else. I just found out she was Irine's roommate and I wanted to get her to pay attention to me. She should also consider the possibility that I might not always run after her so she could appreciate the interest I have in her now." He answered honestly as that was pretty much his intention. All he wanted was to capture Irine's interest, to gain a place in her mind and that way he might in the future be able to sneak into her heart as well.

"Irine told me. She doesn't like her roommate at all from what I understand and it didn't sit well with her. "Rin answered him honestly and the joy on Taehyung's face was all too evident.

Ah, the poor guy. He's really screwed over.

"She's annoyed huh, oh my." He shouted out, his body bouncing a bit up and down on the bed.

"Yeah, but probably not for the reason you hope." She added, now feeling a little bad as she faced him, knowing she was going to wipe that look of joy off his face.

"What do you mean?"

"Look...you'd better get your mind off Irine I think...she's not for you." Rin tried to convince him without having to tell him what she really needed to tell him.

"Did anyone tell you I want your opinion? By what criteria do you judge that she's not for me? I'm not that little you know. I'm sure I could make her happy if she would just give me a serious chance. Really I-"

"She likes Jimin, Taehyung. She likes your brother, not you!" Rin blurted out, regretting a little the amount of abruptness in saying that as Taehyung couldn't help but freeze in front of her.

And here it goes, all that momentary joy. I can see his heart breaking through his eyes.

She thought to herself, before lowering her gaze, muttering to him that she was sorry that things were like this but he just pushed her chair away before quickly exiting their room, with a destination that was unknown to her.
