Jin and Hoseok entered the house, having the luck to both return home at the same time, although each was in his own car.
"Oh, you went shopping ?" Hoseok asked as he noticed the bag his brother was carrying.
"Yes, I bought Namjoon's costume," Jin replied with a smile as he had found a very nice costume that came very close to the description Eleon had given him.
"Already? How did you end up finding the right one so fast? I went through a few places too, but I couldn't make up my mind." Hoseok blurted out to him, feeling the pressure of time on him for the moment, for three days separated them from the event.
"Just pick one randomly. It's a Halloween party, no one will judge you over picking something ugly," Jin told him and Hoseok turned on the spot, instead of passing by the living room together as Jin headed for his room.
"I'm going to go buy one right now. Get it off my list. See ya." Hoseok waved him off and with quick steps found himself back at the front door, where he came face to face with Bomi as soon as he opened it.
"Ah, I was about to ring the bell. How did you know I was here and open the door for me? Did you sense it?" She asked him, obviously surprised at the idea alone.
"Heck no. It was just luck. I was just leaving. "Hoseok replied to her between laughs, which she had provoked with her gibberish.
"Oh, and I was coming. What a coincidence." Bomi patted him lightly on the shoulder before she started laughing too, making Hoseok pull aside for her to pass.
"I believe Namjoon is home, I don't know about Taehyung but sit comfortably." He told her before giving her one last smile and closing the door behind him, letting out a breath of relief that he was done with her, easily.
---change of set---
Hana had just gotten off work and was walking down the sidewalk, intending to go to the bus stop.
Her eyes were on her cell phone as she exchanged a few messages with Miran who now seemed to be finishing up at her own university and would probably have some friends drop her off near home.
So sad, I don't even have someone to give me free rides.
She complained inwardly, finding the event unfair. If she had a boyfriend, surely he'd take her for rides and do her favours but how could she have a boyfriend when she had a Cerberus from hell for an older sister?
Damned be the day that girl was born. Why is she always so unbearable, gosh!
Her thoughts continued as now a heavy breath left her lips, until a horn sounded quite close to her, startling her and causing her to turn back only to be confronted by a police car.
Gosh, I just mentioned her and she appeared? I should have asked for a million dollars instead.
Hana thought as she spotted Eleon sitting in the front seat of the patrol car with a coworker of hers driving.
Hana approached the car and got into the back seat, assuming they probably stopped to pick her up to take her home as most likely Eleon was going there too.
"How come you came by here? You don't patrol this area as far as I know."
"Say hello first. Don't forget your manners." Eleon replied, causing Hana to make an annoyed facial expression for a moment before turning and saying good evening to her sister's colleague.
"Good evening, miss. Nice to meet you." The young policeman replied, giving her a smile that gained Hana's attention for the moment.
Silence fell in the vehicle after that but Hana's thoughts were not silent. Her eyes and attention were now on the police officer who was driving. The more she looked at him the more handsome he looked.
