Namjoon was sitting in front of the office of the management of the orphanage he had come to visit after many hours of thinking and reading.

He had spent most of the night locked in his secret room reading the documents the detective had given him about Eleon and that young man's case. After hours of reading and attention to detail, he couldn't help but come up with a possible version that he had to make sure of.

Nothing seemed to connect Eleon to this young boy but the fact that she gave him so much money was suspicious and much more so whenever there was something that was simply not easy to discern. And if it wasn't her own child or she wasn't dating a younger guy - which were two versions he'd thrown away for now - then there was only one more possibility left.

This young man must have been adopted or something and Eleon had somehow learned of this fact and since she too came from an orphanage she might have wanted to help him with this scholarship. Of course, that thought struck Eleon as someone with feelings and that didn't sit very well with Namjoon but he had found the orphanage she had been taken from and had gone to ask if she used to help out at the orphanage or something.

This is a good opportunity to find out more about her. I might find someone important, like her weak spot for example.

He thought before he heard the door open and stood up, again facing the old woman who entered with the tray of coffee and some cookies for which she had left him alone to go get them.

"Ah leave it to me. "Namjoon approached her and took the tray from her hands which were shaking visibly and the woman smiled as she followed him to the office and took her seat, with a smile on her lips.

"What a lovely day today eh? Not only the sun is shining but we have a man like you visiting us. Oh, you don't know what delight you brought us with your donation. "The woman showed her joy once again, making Namjoon look down shyly as he hadn't made this donation thinking he would be showered with so many thanks.

The truth is that he hadn't even come with such a purpose but when one of the young children of the orphanage approached him with a smile and told him that he knew him because he had read his history book, he couldn't help but be taken aback by the fact that such a young child had read such a difficult academic book but the fact that he had asked him for an autograph had left him with his mouth hanging open.

Not to mention how everyone then gathered around him, looking on with excitement and bright eyes that filled Namjoon with joy, and without him realizing it, he found himself playing with the children in the garden for hours until a supervisor asked him what he was doing there.

And so, without realizing it he had said that he was there to make a donation to the orphanage and had given the check on the spot, earning a welcoming attitude from everyone around. It almost made him feel proud of himself for how well he had done.

"It was nothing much really. I did it from the heart. Those kids are adorable." he replied honestly and the woman smiled wider, for Namjoon was making her super happy for he had suddenly made so many people glow with happiness.

"I honestly don't know how to show our gratitude to you, Mr. Kim."

"Um... there's no need to do anything in return....though the truth is... there is something you could help me with. "He replied, carefully approaching the matter.

"And what is that? Tell me, and if it's within my power I'll do what I can to help." Namjoon smiled at the headmistress' pleasant reply, though he expected such an attitude from her.

"You know, I have a sister who comes from this orphanage. The girl recently had an accident and lost her memory. You know, it would help a lot if there was some way to find out about her past so that I could help her find herself. "He told a lie that he had well thought out and as he saw the lady's willingness before him, he felt like he was flying through the sky.

This day sure is perfect.

----change of set---

Jimin drove home, a bit hurriedly as after the massage he had to give Jungkook he had to go back to his university for some seminars and then he had to make some calls to transfer the money percentage from his account to his girlfriend's account in New York.

He had thought it through and it wasn't as if he could leave her out in the cold while she needed him. He had the money and it wasn't that much trouble for him. But the truth was that the fact that this was becoming a frequent occurrence was starting to make him uneasy.

He was sure that she had told him that she had paid all the tuition fees in full at the beginning of the year and he well remembered giving her more than half the amount to make it easier for her. And he hadn't even considered it burdensome because it was her birthday at the time and he had just given it to her.

But since then whenever they were to talk again, she complained about how hard it was to make ends meet in New York financially and there were months when she didn't have to pay her rent and he worried about her being kicked out, had taken it upon himself to pay her monthly rent.

Having gotten this difficulty out of the way, he hoped she had no reason to worry anymore but something always happens and she is in need of money. At first, it was her family members who needed a hand, then some friends of hers in need of borrowing money from her, and then things she might want to buy for herself. He hadn't hesitated not even for a moment to help her because he always believed she was telling the truth but this time, her words conflicted with his memory and Jimin was getting suspicious.

Could it be that she's in trouble and being blackmailed for money?

A thought crossed his mind making him even more anxious as he pulled up in front of his house and brought the car to a stop.

"Could this be it? And she is not telling me so she won't worry me?" He muttered to himself now feeling like his heart was about to burst.

"Oh, I have to do something... I have to find out...I'm going to go see her!" he decided, a determined look having taken over his face.

He hadn't done that for so long because he had a lot of things to do here and he also couldn't leave without a good excuse and of course, none of his brothers and sisters had to know where he was going and why.

It was risky and that's why it was hard for him to act on it for so long but if his girlfriend was to be in danger, he couldn't just stay there and do nothing.

If I return back quickly no one will notice that I was gone, so, I'll leave the night before the party and come back the night after. I usually stay locked up for 45 hours in the lab and no one comes looking. They won't know I'm not there.

Jimin encouraged himself as he got out of the car and headed for the front door of his house, opening it hurriedly, intending to get to Jungkook's room as quickly as possible but his steps came to a halt as soon as he entered the living room, as to his surprise he found his brother there, accompanied by a female presence who looked at him with wide eyes.

"Miss Anika. What a surprise to find you here. "He told her with a smile on his lips, pleased with her presence as he was sure Jungkook would have been pleased that she had come to see him.

But the joy on Jimin's face and his friendliness towards Anika had only made Jungkook's expression fall as Anika reached out for a handshake with Jimin, staring at him with so much delight.
