SoYi and Miran were sitting on SoYi's bed watching a movie together on the computer since SoYi couldn't go to attend any of her lectures today due to her condition and Miran had ended her classes sooner so she decided to join her.
The two of them were focused all over the screen, with a bowl of popcorn between them for both of them to be able to have equal access to it. They were barely making any other noise other than chewing as they were absorbed in the events of the movie.
And because of that, they didn't even hear the door to the room opening until they heard something heavy falling and they both simultaneously turned their heads, only to see a Jungkook who was now on the floor.
"Are you hurt?" Miran asked him as she thought that somehow he must have stumbled and fallen but Jungkook didn't lift his head to face her.
"Sorry, I didn't know you were both here. I'll go in just a moment." He answered them as he forced himself to stand up without showing his face, as it would reveal his pain.
He had just returned from training and his body was in pain that made it hard for him to even walk. He had pretended everything was fine while he was standing before his team and had put pressure on himself to do more than he usually would have, just to avoid suspicions for if his couch was to learn that he was not in a good physical condition, he would leave him on the bench tomorrow.
Even by the time he got home, he had pretended he was okay but as soon as he entered the door to his room he had put down that mask, forgetting for a moment that it wasn't just his room anymore.
"Well don't put it like that. It's your room too. If you want to stay no one can tell you no." SoYi told him as her eyes scanned his posture, which was different from the other times she had observed him and it was obvious in her eyes that something was wrong with him.
"Yes of course. I just have no reason to stay. That's all " Jungkook replied as he set his bag aside and quickly grabbed some clothes roughly from his closet and left the room in a hurry, leaving both girls somewhat puzzled by his behaviour.

"You do know that it's unprofessional to get injured before a photo shoot, don't you?" The makeup artist started complaining for the third time as she was doing the makeup of Taehyung who had gone there with a red nose and since early morning, she had struggled so much to cover it up at every set.
"I know I know, It's my fault, I admit it. But if you knew how much I tried not to hurt myself yesterday, only to get hurt so abruptly this morning. Even you would have felt sorry for me." He replied, finding the situation ironic yet tragic.
As soon as he mentioned the morning, his mind travelled back to a specific image and he closed his eyes tightly, regretting his existence for the umpteenth time in a day.
How would I ever look her in the eye again? She'd be ashamed now and avoid me like a devil's sock.
Taehyung thought and began to feel bad as it seemed like his hopes of getting close to Irine and gaining her interest were fading away.
I guess I should just give up. What was I thinking after all? I'm not someone who can have a normal relationship. And at the end of the day, she'll be the one to leave me... Maybe it would be better if I didn't start anything.
He thought and his face fell into a pure expression of regret that worried his makeup artist and made her apologize to him, thinking that her prior comment had upset him.
"Oh no, Noona. Don't apologize, it's my fault anyway. I promise I'll be more careful and not make your life difficult." Taehyung smiled at her, wanting to reassure her, and then got up from the chair to stand at the place where the photographer was waiting for him.
The flashes soon began to bathe him again though this time his expression besides being serious also hid his sadness.

Hoseok was busy in his office until his secretary called on the line and announced that RiuMee had come to see him.
He was a little surprised at the information but told his secretary to let the daughter of the highest-ranking executive in the company come in as he wanted to see her as well.
It had been some time since the two of them were separated and the truth was that he couldn't take it anymore. Being with him but at the same time not being with him. Supposedly being on a break but while they are separated, he learns that she is seeing other people. Every day that passed, he just got more hurt under his quiet facade and he thought that for her to come to meet him first, she probably came to understand that there was no one better for her so she made her decision to end this break between them and ask him to be a couple again.
He had waited for months to hear those words escape her lips, but as soon as she entered, he knew by the look in her eyes that his hope would be lost.
"Hi." She greeted him coldly as she took her seat and Hoseok convinced himself to smile and play it cool.
"What good wind brings you RiuMee? Shall I order you some coffee?" He offered and his hand was already up to his phone but as he thought, she declined.
"I'm sorry, but this time I'm not here for small talk. Maybe some other time. "
"Yes. Straight to the point then. That sounds more like you." He told her, knowing her well and the fact that she didn't like to waste time on small things often.
" I know, I've kept you waiting for too long. The truth is I thought you would eventually figure it out on your own... But even if you did for some reason you waited and made me feel the need to shut it down properly." She told him and Hoseok just looked at her as thoughts flooded his mind.
Apparently, the day she asked him for some distance was the day of their breakup. He had just truly believed that she needed some time to herself and like an idiot he had given her space and stayed loyal waiting for her.
"I'm sorry, but for me, our relationship couldn't give me what I was looking for. Your time is limited, your family is where your attention is focused most of the time. And I just end up being one more person in your life. I've never felt important enough, and that's why I want to find someone... And I found someone... for whom I'm the most important." RiuMee continued and Hoseok just nodded his head in affirmation as he didn't have much else to do.
He had nothing to say, for he had nothing to offer her beyond what he had already given her. And if ultimately those things weren't enough, then she had no reason to stay.
"Thank you for your time so far. Goodbye." She got up and left without even waiting for him to say a word and he just realized how much she seemed in a hurry to end this relationship she had with him.
And the truth was that even though in the silence of his office, he may have seemed normal, inside, at that moment, Hoseok felt his heart aching a bit as he left one more love, to fade into past tense.
