~Chapter 11~

I woke up the next morning to knocking. I seem to have regained feeling in my legs but it was still tingly. I got up shakily, basically crawling to the door. I opened it. Koda looked at me on the ground.

~You ok?~

~That woman from yesterday did something with those vines. I was paralyzed all night.~ He looked concerned.

~That's why you didn't answer?~ I nodded. ~My mom said to just not bother you cause you seemed really sad and hurt.~

~She was right about that. How much time do I have until school starts?~

~About an hour. I can help you. With your hair and stuff.~

~Ok. Let me get changed. I'll text you when I'm dressed.~

~Ok.~ I shut the door and started limping to my closet, grabbing my uniform, and putting it on. IIt hurt. All the cuts stung. I went to the bathroom partially normally. Most of the feeling in my body had come back. I brushed my teeth and then texted Koda. He walked in and came to the bathroom. ~How do you want it?~

~I don't know. However, you want.~ He brushed it gently then threw it into a cute messy bun.

~We have to go now.~

~Ok.~ I grabbed my bag, slipped on my shoes, and we left. We got to class seconds before the bell rang. My classmates were looking at me weirdly. I had cuts all over my face so I guess it only makes sense. After the bell rang, some people came up to me asking what happened. I said that some lady on the street was angry at me for something random and she trapped me in vines. I didn't tell the truth cause Kirishima, Bakugo, Kaminari, and Sero were listening further back. They could come to the inn and find me. Class started soon and I just worked silently. I made some small bubbles and put them in my ears to act as earplugs. I forgot my headphones at home. 

"Hey." I heard Muffled. I looked around and saw Sero talking to me. I popped a bubble.

"What's up?"

"So why did she attack you?"

"I don't know man. She seemed just really angry."

"Mhm. And where did you say you were?"

"I was walking back from the grocery store. I took an alley and she was just hanging out there." He looked at me skeptical.

"Ok."

"How's the piercing?"

"It's good. It took me a while to get used to."

"Yeah. I've heard."

"You don't have any piercings?"

"Other than my ears, no. My mom never let me."

"Well, why not?"

"It wasn't "ladylike" in her eyes."

"Well, you can do it yourself anyways right?"

"True. Now go do your work."

"Ok." He walked away and I put another bubble in my ear. I looked back and Sero was talking to Kirishima. I should've known. The class went by and I went to lunch. This time, I sat in the cafeteria. A bunch of students stared at me. I sat down by myself. Until Monoma approached me.

"You still go here? I thought you died. You would've done us a favor."

"What do you want, Monoma? I'm too tired for your bullshit today."

"Oh, you are standing up for yourself now?"

"Just go away."

"And if I don't?"
