And with the argument having been over for a few more hours, Denks went to bed. I stayed up and put 2 energy drinks by my bed. my eyes fought to stay open but once it passed 2 AM, I was fine. But I kept seeing shadows in the room. Sometimes they disappeared instantly. others, they didn't.

"Y/N." Denks. I acted like I was asleep. I quickly turned off my phone and sat still in the dark. "Y/Nnnnn." He said once more. "I know you're awake." I sighed.

"Yes?"

"Go to sleep."

"I will."

"Now." He turned over and faced me. I couldn't see his face but I could see the bolt in his hair, different from his bright yellow hair. "You need it."

"Ok." I listened and lay down.

"Thank you." A few seconds later, I heard soft snoring. I stayed down but fought sleep for the next few hours.

Sleep. The voice.

I don't want to.

You need to. I need to get out.

I don't care. You hurt people.

WE hurt people.

I don't do shit.

People see you do it.

It's you. They know that.

Do they?

Yes. I was beginning to get irritated.

Let's find out then. I snapped out of my daze. I didn't fall asleep. I was simply not there. It was time for school so I got on my clothes before Denks' alarm woke him up. I also covered up the dark circles under my eyes with a little makeup. I heard the alarm go off.

"Y/N?" I was sitting at the side of my bed where he couldn't see me.

"Here." I raised my hand.

"What are you doing?" I hid my makeup bag and picked up my slippers from the side of the bed.

"Getting my slippers."

"Did you sleep?"

"Yeah. But I feel like it went by in a flash." I smiled. he looked skeptical.

"Text Jirou. I'm getting up this time." He reluctantly got out of bed and started to ready his uniform. Jirou knocked on the door a little later. Her hair was still messed up, but I said nothing about it. She walked me to the bathroom while I did my morning routine and she brushed her hair and straightened up. Once we finished, we walked back to my dorm. Denks had done his hair already and he was ready to go.

"Alright. Anything else you need to do before we go?"

"Not that I can think of." I grabbed my school bag and slung it over my shoulder.

"Good. Let's get breakfast."

"Sorry?"
"Breakfast. I didn't see you eat much and we need to get you back on a regular eating schedule. "
"Ok." We walked to school and got in line for breakfast. It was just a simple omelet. I ate a little less than half but I was starting to feel sick so I stopped. I drank all of my water though.
"Thank you for eating. Now let's go to class the bell is about to ring." I nodded and we walked into the classroom and took our seats. But I was fighting for my LIFE trying to stay awake while Aizawa was talking.
"Y/n." My name was called. I looked up and saw Aizawa staring at me. "See me after class."
"Yes sir." Shit. Fuck. Mother fucker. Im gonna cry-
The bell rang and I went up to Aizawa.
"You wanted to see me?"
"How much sleep did you get last night."
"6 hours."
"Then why does it look like you've slept -48 hours?"
"What do you mean?"
"Makeup doesn't hide everything." He circled his eyes.
"I assure you I'm fine sir." He then held out his hand.
"Arm."
"Arm?"
"Give me your arm." Oh. I placed my arm in his hand and he pulled the sleeve up a little, revealing my scars and old cuts that haven't scarred yet. "Mm."
"Are you ok?"
"You're in the clear. Don't ever let me catch you falling asleep while I'm talking again."
"Yes sir." He walked out. I went back to my seat and rested my face in my hands until a tap was felt on my shoulder. I looked up to see who it was.
Koda.
~You doing ok?~
~Yeah, I'm ok. Thank you.~
~Mol wanted to know if you want some dinner. She's bringing it by after school today and she really misses you.~
~Aw. Tell her I said yes please and thank you.~
~Ok. Bye.~ he walked away back to Shoji, Ojirou, and Sato. I needed coffee. Bad. A few more periods went by before I was lunch time. I didn't register it until half the class was out the door. I got up quickly and went straight to Denks.
"Coffee. Now."
"I'm talking to Kirishima." He said. He looked sad, torn between what I believe is his friend and his responsibility.
"Sorry." I walked out. I mean, Bakugo was there but he isn't exactly friendly anymore.
"Wait, you're going by yourself?"
"Yeah. I just can't get caught." I walked to the Cafeteria in a crowd of kids and once I saw my opportunity, I b-lined it straight to the cafe area.
"One Ristretto please." The barista nodded and began my drink. As I waited, someone grabbed my shoulder.
"Hey." Fucking Shinsou. I didn't respond to him. "Oh come one. I won't do anything." I ignored him. "If you don't respond I won't drag you to Aizawa." I finally looked at him. But nothing came out of my mouth.
"I won't do anything." He put his hands up as if he was surrendering. I held out my pinky.
"A fucking pinky promise? Are we five?" He laughed. I was serious. "Fine." We locked pinkys.
"Good. And I need coffee. Denks was busy and no one else could go with me."
"Mama, your drink is done." The barista said.
"Thank you!" I grabbed the coffee and drank in the hot liquid. "Yummy."
"So how many days has it been since you've slept?"
"I slept last night."
"I live in a family of Insomiacs. I can tell when you sleep for 6 hours and when you don't sleep for a few days." He sighed. "You need to do your makeup better. Try getting your concealer and blotting it on with your finger to blend it out. It should look better than the powder you're using now."
"Ok Mr. Smart guy. I don't need your input."
"Don't care. Take my advice or don't. But I'm gonna stick with you through lunch."
"I'm good."
"Nope. You said that Kaminari was busy and no one else was there. So here I am. I mean, if you don't want it then I could always give you to Aizawa."
"You wouldn't." I glared at him while sipping my coffee.
"I have his number."
"Wait, why?"
"That's secret information. Now, it's either me or Aizawa." I groaned.
"Fine. You'll do."
"Good. Now let's go to your class and wait for it to begin."
"Ok." We walked to my class and he sat in the seat behind me. Midoriya's seat. We played some 2 player games on his phone until the bell rang and then left when the other students came in. The rest of school went by quickly and I was able to stay awake. Although, today was training day.
