Chapter 24 - Training Routines Part 3

As other students were continuing their routines, we cut to Selen Tatsuki who was using her dragon hand to slam into one of the C-Rank monsters as she slammed it into the ground, killing it in an instant. She was being attacked by another when her tail reacted by slamming into its face and sent the monster flying away into a tree. Selen chuckles a little in delight.

Selen: "Sorry, but you are going to need to do better than that to get the jump on me."

She then stretching her arms a little bit while another monster was attempting to attack her from behind, but she reacted in time as she backflipped into the air, landing behind the monster as she then kicked it away. 

Selen: "And it is slightly rude to interrupt my warmup."

She says nonchalantly as she was quite versed when it came to her fighting style. One last monster attempts to attack from the front, but she smirks as she breathed out a large torrent of purple flames that engulfed the monster, burning it into nothingness. She felt accomplished as she had a grin on her face, but she then coughed a little as little sparks of purple flames left her mouth for a moment.

Selen: "Damn it... Why did I have to let out that much..? How does sis even do this in the first place?"

Selen managed to relax herself as she has realized that she killed all the monsters in the surrounding area.

Selen: "The fun's over. Oh well, perhaps I can check up with others back at that mansion."

She ponders to herself as she begins to make her way back. We then cut to Petra Gurin who is staying closer to the shores as she was ensuring that she maintains an advantage. She was utilizing her Water Magic to great extents as she used her Ice Magic to lure the C-Rank monsters towards the shores. She was being rather successful as she ended up using her Ice Magic to freeze them entirely as she then uses her Water Magic to slice into them, which seemed to have worked as they all shattered into shards of ice.

Petra fell to her knees while still on the ice she created, but she didn't take into account on the weight limitations as the ice below her broke as she fell into the water.

Petra: "Wah!"

She immediately swam to shore as she was trying to dry her clothing.

Petra: "Come on, come on! Oh no...~ I can't dry this...~"

She was trying to come up with something, but her thoughts were interrupted when Kyo Kaneko appeared from the forest as he seemed to be a little exhausted.

Kyo: "Damn it... Why can't I use my Magic during the day...? Agh! This is so frustrating!"

Kyo was clearly in a bad mood, but Petra thought it would be a good idea to approach him.

Petra: "Hey Kyo!"

Kyo looked at Petra, though he has managed to calm down, he noticed that her attire was completely drenched and wet.

Kyo: "Petra, did you go into the water?"

Petra: "Well yeah but... Do you possibly know a way for me to dry my clothing more efficiently?"

Kyo looked rather confused as he simply crossed his arms.

Kyo: "You think I would be able to give you advice about drying your clothes? Why can't you do it?"

Petra: "Uhhh...."

Kyo: "Have you never really done it before? No way dawg. You can't be lying to yourself right?"

Petra: "No...?"

Kyo then sighs as he couldn't really believe that one of his own classmates is being like this.
