Chapter 28 - The Keeper of Nature

Lukas's eyes began to open as he was blinking a bit to clear his vision. It was still slightly blurry as he sat up, holding his head a bit as he was trying to remember what happened.

Lukas: "Urgh... Oww... What happened...?"

He then remembered that he ended up in a fight against the robot known as Shadow, though he lost in the end, he was saved by someone who seemed to be really powerful. His memories were a little fuzzy as he then stood up, yet his legs felt a little wobbly at best. He looked down to the ground, noticing it to be a wooden floor as he then looked around the room he was in. He appeared to be in some sort of home that was made out of some fine wood that he doesn't really recognize as it gave a sense of comfort. 

Lukas: "W-Where am I...?"

He didn't quite understand on how he got here in the first place, but he then looked down at himself when he realized, he was shirtless. He became embarrassed in an instant as it forced him to sit back down as his hands were gripping the side of the bed. He then felt a sharp pain in his left shoulder as he moved his right hand over the injury, only to see it covered in bandages. He wasn't sure still, but he would get his answer soon as Fauna entered the room with a strangely well crafted wooden cup.

Fauna: "Oh~ You're awake."

Lukas: "H-Hi...?"

Fauna: "Hello."

She had a rather comforting smile as she walked up to the bedside table, putting the cup down.

Fauna: "You should drink this. It should help ease the pain in your shoulder."

Lukas was a little hesitant, but he complied as he took a sip. He was expecting it to be very warm that it would burn his tongue, but strangely, it didn't. It definitely had a Herbal Tea taste to it as it cooled down on his tongue. Giving a strange feeling that he never experienced before. He could actually feel the effects kick in immediately as the pain in his left shoulder slowly dissipated for the time being.

Lukas: "T-Thank you miss..."

Fauna: "How curious, what's an Omni Magician doing all the way out here?"

Lukas was taken aback as he only realized now that she knows his identity as the Omni Magician, though he wonders on how fast information can fly within the Supernatural world. Which he kind of compares it to Humanity's internet web when you post one bit of information as everyone can view it.

Lukas: "H-How do you know that I am an O-Omni Magician..?"

He needed to know so he could understand how people can pick up on that. Since his life was either going downhill or uphill ever since he learnt of himself being this so called legendary Omni Magician. Yet sometimes it could be a mixture of both. Fauna still kept up her gentle smile as she could see how nervous Lukas was.

Fauna: "I suppose I should introduce myself. I am Ceres Fauna, the Keeper of Nature."

Lukas then realized who she was the moment she mentioned who she was.

Lukas: "W-Wait... You're the Keeper of Nature..? One of the m-members of the Council..?"

Fauna: "Why yes I am. Have you heard of me?"

Lukas: "Akuma-Sensei h-has explained to me about how the Keeper of Nature has been keeping things settled here on t-this island... Yet I was t-told my Amelia Watson about the members of the Council..."

Fauna: "I see. You weren't taught much about us huh? I suppose that would make sense as it would lead to conflict. However you are taking this lightly. Mind introducing yourself?"
