Chapter 2 : The Bet

Narrator POV:

After Adora arrived home, she read the message she had been given by their Housekeeper two days prior "Gon be home on Monday, Hon. Love - Mom" and threw herself onto her Bed "Pff, ...haven't seen you idiots in close to a week but you could make it a year and it wouldn't be enough" 

Adora had noticed Catra before this Day and was half impressed, half fascinated by her. She was Proud, never denied her Sexuality and was ready to kick anyones Ass if they fuck up but because of all of this, she was always alone. Adora admired her tenacity but swore herself that she would not end up like her, certain she would not be able to continue being the Golden Student she pretended to be and the very thought that her Religious Parents could find out that she was into Girls was not something she had any desire to reveal.... yet. Even just showing someone who she really was had a terrifying aftertaste just thinking about it

After getting a quick shower and changing into some Sweatpants and a Muscle shirt, Adora notices her Phone blinking with a message

Glimmer

"....im Sorry"

That was all she wrote. Adora and her were friends since they met in Primary school and while Glimmer could be stubborn and unreasonable at times, Adora knew she was genuinely worried about her and even though she could be annoying, she still valued her as a Friend

A: "I know...we good?"

G: "hmm"

That was it. All that needed to be said and the thought of telling her best friend what had happened after she left the Roof came up...but

"Ohh and if you tell anyone about this, i will consider that a breach of contract....Happy to work with you, Adora"

"Nope, this little bit of Fun is all mine for now...sorry Glim" she muttered, threw the phone on the Bed and went downstairs to the Kitchen. Milena, the Housekeeper and Person who literally raised Adora when her Parents found out that Money was a better source of happiness than their own Daughter, was making Dinner. Adora always loved the kind hearted Dog Hybrid, even when her foul mouth could get her into trouble sometimes. Her Fur/Skin Mix was slightly orange with a tint of brown that reminded Adora of someone she'd rather not think about right now "What's for Dinner Milena?"

"Hey, Hon. Im making Surf and Turf, Giant Head Shrimp with Ribeye, coleslaw and Sweet Potatoes and for desert, apple Pie"

"Going full American, I see.." Adora says with a smile and her stomach chose that moment to growl "...sounds amazing as always"

"Thanks Hon....umm do you mind if.."

"Take the leftovers, I don't mind" Adora answered with a warm smile, already knowing what she was about to ask. Melina was a single Parent that had fallen on some hard times from what she told her "My Parents don't care and i'd rather food gets eaten than thrown away and wasted"

"Thank you, Adora"

"Don't thank me for something that should be normal" Adora said and sat down to watch the Woman prepare everything. After being employed for almost 15 years with her Family, Melina was the only person, in this house, Adora fully trusted and the only person, besides Glimmer, she ever came out to "can i ...ask you something?"

"Shot"

"So..there's this Girl that found out that i'm...you know and now she threatened to tell everyone unless i...tutor her"

"That's....odd. If she really wants to learn, there are easier ways.... what kind of Person do you think she is?"

"Cat hybrid, violent, rude, slightly psychotic, gay and a pain in my ass" she said, counting each point on her Fingers "And maybe someone not boring for once" she added in her mind
