TW: Homophobia
Narrator POV:
Catra was in a better mood as she walked out of the cafe. Angella had left about 30 minutes earlier after they had determined that Prime would be the only guess they had left as to who could have screwed with her but little to no way to prove this or idea as to his motives
"Gonna talk to Ms. Lang again I guess" Catra thought while she was waiting for the Bus. She took her Phone out and looked at the last few messages from Adora "...nah...so not in the mood for her right now" she returned her Phone to his place in the left pocket of her Leather Jacket. With all the trouble of trapping ms Weaver, Catra had very little time to actually follow through with what she had promised the blonde
The last words to her were "I'll think about it...but I still don't like you" and Catra had run into a Wall trying to figure out what she even meant by saying that. True, she had an innate dislike of Adora but that was a result of her MO of getting into People's heads, manipulating and analyzing them in a way that would benefit her, similar to a sociopath "but now that I know why she became like that, it does make sense for her to do this. It's a defense mechanism that is stuck in her Head and isn't easy to fix". The whole thing would have been easy to dismiss and to let Catra conclude that she would use her as long as she needed her until she had fulfilled her part of the Deal and then stop all contact..but Catra already knew she would still want to hang around Adora, even if only, because she was attracted to her "...I really am that simple, aren't I?"
By the time Catra arrived at home, she had decided that she would let her instinct decide how to proceed with Adora when the time came "Like it or not, you still need her...for School" she justified as she fell asleep

The Next Day, Catra had answered Adoras text while eating breakfast
C : Talked to her and she thinks its prime
C: No idea why though
A few minutes pass but no answer came
C: I know you're reading this so answer me, dipshit
A: Oh so now we can blame each other for not answering? Who am I? Your mother?
"Pff...Drama Queen" Catra thought, a small smile on her lips
C: Get over yourself, I had something to do maybe? I don't owe you to answer when you message me
A: Dito
"...the fuck? Why is she so bitchy today?"
C: Fine, Princess. I'm terribly sorry that I have a life and that I didn't answer you the second I could have. May my insubordination be forever remembered as a symbol of stupidity. There. Happy?
Catra wrote in a way that left little doubt that she had been inserting as much sarcasm and as condescending as she could be in the written word and was left to read again. Deciding that face to Face, Adora would be easier to talk to, she got ready for School
---
The Day passed as usual for Catra. She had not many that even acknowledge her existence on a daily basis, with only Silva and Adora as exceptions to this rule and today she felt even more like a ghost than usual. When days like this came around, Catra would usually spend her time on the Roof, smoking or sleeping but today, just as she was about to skip the last lesson, she ran into someone who very much talked to her...sadly
"Hey, Pussy" Shouted a brown skinned Girl just as Catra was about to walk up the stairs to the roof. While most of the Students ignored her, there were those that found some sort of joy in antagonizing her to the point she would be ready to beat them up, only to be punished by Teachers in return "Rumor has it that you found someone pathetic enough to lick your Dyke cunt.....is Gray that desperate?" Lonnie Wales was once someone that presented herself as a Friend in Catras life. When she first came here the Girl was quick to prove that she wasn't too fond of rules in general and liked breaking them whenever she saw fit to entertain herself and others but that quickly changed when the teachings of her Conservative household dictated her behavior. They could have been friends if Catra had never told her...
