Narrator POV:
.....oh, Hi...umm so where did we leave off....right...sex, I forgot *Ahem*
Catra awoke to the first Sun rays that brushed over her Eyes. Against her will, she opened them to see Adora sleep peacefully beside her and memories of yesterday came flooding back into the foreground of her mind. The date, the laughs, then meeting Val for the first time in years and then back home with Adora...."Holy shit... is this real?" she thought, poking the blonde cheek with her finger to no reaction "feels real...huh". Nothing could make her want to move right now but fate never works out the way you want
"Mija? You up?" her mom shouted outside
Catra rolled her eyes, suppressed a groan and threw on a shirt and some panties and walked out, closing the door as quietly as she could "might as well wake her with breakfast" she thought with a wide smile
"Morning mom"
"Heeeey, Mija" Sofia grinned "How was.."
"No...Not one word. It was amazing but you need to stop bringing this shit up and i'm going to get us some breakfast now" she said, faking anger. She was very open with her Mother and never had any real problem with her knowing...the listening part was slightly creepy but that was more the fault of the small apartment than her
"Oh relax, I didn't even hear much. Contrary to your what you may think, I do not enjoy listening to you...enjoying yourself so I put in airpods and just sleep with music"
"Oh...okay...thanks, i guess"
"Trust me, that is more for my own benefit than yours" Sofia said and stood up to ruffle Catras Hair "I hope you didn't just do this without talking first"
"Nah..we did and ...she's my Girlfriend now" Catra admitted, her tail portraying the actual happiness that her voice denied
"Thats great...i'm happy for you" Sofia put her jacket on and took her Purse
"Where are you going? I thought today was your day off"
"It is. I'm going shopping...maybe a few hours with Friends" she winked "Have fun you two"
"I really got lucky that you stuck around for me....Love you, mom"
"...sh-shut up before you make me cry. Love you too, Catarina" she said and closed the door
"Right....back to the hot chick in my bed...my Girlfriend" she thought with a huge smile and without skipping a beat, Catra turned on the spot and got to work on breakfast, happiness radiating from her, her Tail now completely uncontrollable and a small purr filling the Kitchen
Adora awoke meanwhile in much the same mood, happy beyond compare but different from Catra, that didn't last long. Checking the time on her Phone let her know that she had several new messages that she ignored because she had her Phone off since her speech and going through them, one surprised her..the one that her Father had sent
"How...did he get this Number?" was her first thought since she had broken her old one when she "left" home "...Why would he even need it?" she thought and read his message. He didn't hide how pissed he was for once, calling her a "Freak" and "disgusting", nothing she didn't expect...what she also didn't expect was that it would still hurt like this. Deep down, she had hope that her Father would see how much she had suffered and changed course....but that never happened. When the Door opened, she quickly tried to hide her Tears but Catras face fell in an instant
"Wha-what's wrong?"
"N...nothing"
Catra set the prepared breakfast down on her Desk and sat beside Adora, her worst fear now running wild inside her Head "...do you regret it?"
