Narrator POV:
Opposite of Catras apartment was a small, walled in Park with a duck pond, lots of Flower Beds and no one that could see Adora freak out at the moment. Leaning against the Wall besides the entreance, she took a minute to calm herself "I really fucked up by not talking to her, didn't I?"
She remembered the first time she met Glimmer and how they became friends when a Boy in class would hurt some of the Girls and both of them wanted to beat him up at the same time "Back then I thought she was just like me...but that didn't last long.."
When Middle school came around, the two were still friends but Adora had started to ask herself why she kept her around, her mindset having changed to see Humans as a zero sum game "Not like she was useful to me anymore...yet I still wanted her to be around...she was funny and didn't hold back to say what she thought...I think i admired her a lot for that" Adora giggled while she let several memories play back in her mind, too preoccupied to notice the figure that approached her until the Blade of a knife was at her throat. Adora inhaled sharply and her Eyes grew wide as she realized her position but calmed instantly once her assailant spoke
"Why the fuck are you here?"
Adora had little trouble identifying the Voice of Silva even with his frame and Face hidden under the long Raincoat he was wearing without a cloud in sight
"Why are you at my Girlfriends Place, Gray?"
Adora was surprisingly calm, despite the circumstance "Why do you still think she sees you as so much as a friend, let alone Girlfriend?...wait, you are still stalking her?"
"I..I'm just looking out for her. Girls need to be protected..."
Adora was not the type that would physically hurt someone in the hope of changing their mind or pushing her will through, prefering to manipulate them in a way that they would destroy themselves in the long run...but right now, her training might finally prove worth the time it took to learn it. Her previous encounter with Cedric came to mind and how Catra had handled it back then "Maybe that's the right answer in a situation such as this? Pure, unadulterated Violence"
"Do we, hmm?" she muttered and stared behind him, smiling confidently. On edge and paranoid as he was, her ruse worked and for just a second, Silva looked behind him only to find his World suddenly upside down when Adora took the Hand that held the Knife and threw him over her Shoulder. With a hard *crack* he hit the ground, the blonde not waiting for him to get his bearing before putting her Foot on his shoulder and twisting the wrist enough to make him scream, loudly in pain "Let go or I'll snap it, motherfucker"
"AAAAAAHHH, OKAY OKAY...." he dropped the Hunting knife that was gleaming in the moonlight, looking as if it could cut through bone and sinew with its heft and width
"Okay, fucknugget, intervention time. Since you're incapable of listening to Catra, maybe you'll listen to someone who can and will actualy fuck you up when you go to far and my boy, you are so damn far over the line right now that she should've called the cops on you years ago"
Catra had meanwhile arrived just outside of her apartment, as she was able to hear and recognize Silva's scream instantly. She ran downstairs as fast as she could, ignoring her knowledge about Adoras fighting prowess and worry about her safety instead
Downstairs and just outside the door, she stopped when she saw Adora standing above Silva, still holding his wrist "...duh...she doesn't need me for someone this weak...why was I even worried?"
Silva looked at the young Woman in surprise "H-have you always talked like that? I remember you were more....girly, not so ruff"
"...Though, deal with it, bitch. Leave her alone or I'll ...I ..." Adora let him go and took a step back "...no, I don't need to do anything. Catra is strong enough to kick your ass whenever she wants so why would I take that bit of fun from her?"
