The News

Chanyeol walks inside the airport where a private plane is waiting at the tarmac for him and Yeri. As soon as he enters , he saw Yeri with her assistant walking through. Yeri did noticed him and gave him a small wave and her sweetest smile. Chanyeol's breath hitched as usual from the smile and slowly approached his ex-girlfriend.

" How are you today, Yeol? " She greeted him and came closer ,too close for Chanyeol's comfort.

" I'm f-fine. " Shit! Did I just stutter? He must admit that having Yeri this close, inhaling the scents that all Yeri's like how he remembers it, gives him an aching feeling. " How are you? " He smiled at her and Yeri beamed brightly.

She came a little bit closer to Chanyeol to whisper on his ear. Suddenly from nowhere, there were flashing cameras. From the angle where few reporters stood, it seems that Yeri just kissed Chanyeol.

" I'm so excited about this trip Yeol! Even though this trip is rush and purely for business, knowing that I will spend my birthday with you in Paris makes me very happy. Gosh! I can't believe that I will be with you on that day. " Yeri's voice cracks and her eyes are soft. And all Chanyeol can read from them is longing. Maybe her eyes reflected his own. Chanyeol's big hand move to Yeri's cheek and she leans to the touch and smiles. " I miss you, Yeol. You have no idea.. " On the side of Yeri's eyes she saw the bunch of reporters that taking their photos. She smiled inwardly.

Chanyeol on the other hand doesn't know how to answer to that. There were so many thoughts that currently running on his mind. Something heavy that Chanyeol pushes back, trying so hard to gained his focus to the tasks on hand. He withdrew his hand and didn't say anything as he ushered Yeri to the door that will lead them to the tarmac with both their assistants on their heels.

And Chanyeol literally have no idea that pictures of him and Yeri in an intimate position while standing in the middle of an airport will end up on the news that night

" Baekhyunee,.." Min-ah took her eyes away from the television as she sees Baekhyun descending from the stairs. It was past ten in the evening and this is the only time Baekhyun came out from his room. Since he went back from meeting his father, Baekhyun always locks himself in his room. And Min-ah started to feel worried about him but still she doesn't want to be evasive. So, she just check on him regularly and make sure there's always fresh cooked meal for him.

" Hello noona.. " Baekhyun sits besides her, eyeing the television with the ten o'clock news airing on it.

" Are you hungry? I will prepare your dinner. I cooked your favorite pasta and chilled some fresh salad! " She said with enthusiasm hoping that it will boost Baekhyun's appetite.

" Thank you, noona.. " Baekhyun thanked her sincerely and Min -ah stands up to prepare his dinner , leaving Baekhyun watching the news.

Baekhyun's mind is wandering somewhere but his eyes were fixed on the television, his eyes blinks as pictures of Chanyeol and Yeri shows on the screen.

" Early this afternoon, the heir of Park's Empires - Park Chanyeol and the heiress of Byun's Corporation - Byun Yeri were spotted leaving together for a birthday getaway in Europe. It was reported that the gorgeous heiress of Byun's Corporation will be celebrating her 25th birthday two days from now with her childhood sweetheart - the equally gorgeous, Mr. Park Chanyeol. It was also reported that the couple have been dating since they were teenagers and a wedding date will be announced soon. "

While the news anchor tells the news, photos of Yeri tiptoeing to kiss Chanyeol's cheek and the other photos were Chanyeol caressing Yeri's cheek. Baekhyun hated how the images are so clear that he can clearly see the soft gaze on his husband's eyes for his step-sister. And how he didn't missed the smile that formed in Chanyeol's lips while caressing her cheek as if it was full of love and gentleness. Baekhyun feels a sudden burns in his stomach and runs to the nearest bathroom to throw up while tears keeps flowing from his tired eyes. And when there's nothing coming out anymore from his empty stomach, Baekhyun screams and sobs. For the millionth of times he feels like dying. But only this time it way, way much worse.

Min-ah saw everything. She went back to the living room wanting to ask Baekhyun if he wants some white cheese for his salad. She halted when she heard the news and saw pictures of her boss and a lady that now she is aware that maybe Baekhyun's sister. She was confused and wanted to approach Baekhyun to check on him but he runs to the bathroom. From the outside, Min-ah heard Baekhyun vomiting, she heard him screams and heard his painful sobs. Min-ah stood outside the bathroom door with tears flowing in her cheeks while her heart is breaking for the man inside.

A/N:

I still feel unwell with a nasty cough but the desire to give an update is strong. 😷 I managed to squeeze this chapter out of my brain and if this came out lame, my apologies. This is just another filler ( and by filler , I mean it is not on my original story line but try to put it to add details and prolong this story) and the next chapter is the one I dreaded , so update may happen when I fully recover. Because I need to be mentally stable when I type it down.
