Purest Of Pain

Baekhyun pushed himself out of the crowd, eyes blurred with overflowing tears, suddenly breathing became hard for him. He rushed out of the auditorium trying to catch the air he badly needed. He leaned back to the wall just outside the auditorium, clutching his chest while tears won't stop flowing from his closed eyes. A worried Minseok followed him, he saw Baekhyun clutching his chest like he is having a heart attack, he rushed towards his friend.

" Baek, are you okay!"

" Migraine. Just fucking migraine. " Baekhyun answered while he squeezed his eyes tight hoping that the tears will stop.

" Do you need to go to the hospital? You're worrying me, Baek. Should we go now? " Minseok was genuinely worried about Baekhyun who looks like he will collapse any time soon.

" I'm okay, Min. Just the loud noises and bright lights... " Baekhyun cannot continue what he was going to say when he heard another voice.

" Is everything okay here?" Tao who happens to be on his way inside the auditorium heard what Minseok said about going to the hospital.

Both Baekhyun and Minseok were surprised by the sudden presence of Tao, Baekhyun wiped his tears away and looked down on his feet. Why Chanyeol's friend need to see me like this? He felt more uncomfortable now.

" Baekhyun is having a migraine. I was thinking maybe he needs to go to the hospital. " Minseok explained.

" Is there anything I can help? " Tao asked. He knows that Jongin is crushing over Baekhyun and he can't wait to tell him about their encounter.

" No need. Please, I just want to go home." Baekhyun said in a small voice that almost missed the ears of the two guys in front of him.

" Can you walk? Do you feel dizzy? " Minseok asked still worried for his friend. Tao came closer just in case Baekhyun needed help to walk but suddenly taken aback when the smaller open his eyes.

" I can walk. Thank you." Baekhyun said softly but with a crack voice. He wouldn't dare to say another word for the fear that he ended up a crying mess once again.

Both Minseok and Tao were fixed on their spots. Minseok was shocked to see the pain in Baekhyun's eyes, like his friend's inside was shattered into million pieces. Is migraine hurt that much?  Minseok asked to himself but somehow his gut told him that it's not the migraine that causing his friend this pain.

While Tao on the other hand was taken aback of Baekhyun's beauty. Yes he sees Baekhyun almost everyday but this was the first time he see him this close. Baekhyun must be the most beautiful guy he ever met in his life. But the hurt that he's seeing in Baekhyun's beautiful eyes was something he can't fathom. All he can think was Baekhyun was in pain, like the purest of pain. Tao suddenly felt that he wanted to hug and comfort the small guy.

" I will drive you home. " Minseok offered. Which Baekhyun nodded his head, too embarrassed to stay longer in front of Chanyeol's friend.

" You sure you two can managed? " Tao asked kindly.

" Yes. Thank you. " Minseok gave him a thankful look while Baekhyun mouthed a soft " Thank you. "

He watched as the two friends walked toward the parking lot and went inside the auditorium when they were already out of sight. He went straight to the room that served as dressing/resting room for their band.

" What took you so long? " Kris asked him " did you get it? "

Tao threw the shirt that Kris forgot inside his car. His friend need to change after sweating so much from their one hour performance.

" Thanks bro! " Kris beamed at him and went at the back to change since Dara and her friends were with them. They are heading for late dinner and maybe some bar hopping tonight.

" Hey Jongin! " Tao called out Jongin who was playing on his phone.

" What's your problem, panda bear? " Jongin asked without looking his way.

" You guess who I saw on my way here, nini bear." Tao asked teasingly.

All the people inside the room turned their gazes to Tao who seems have a big news to spill.

" You tell me now, panda bear.. " eyes now on Tao , game on his phone forgotten.

" Your biggest crush! " Tao exclaimed.

Jongin looks surprised while Sehun laughed and others were clueless about who's Tao was talking about.

" You are busted now, nini bear!" Sehun teased while laughing.

" The fuck?! " Jongin sneered to the two guys who were trying to annoyed him.

" What now? Are you going to deny that you've been crushing on someone? " Tao laughed devilish, enjoying Jongin uneasiness.

" You have crush on someone?" Kyungsoo asked, trying to hide his jealousy.

" We dare you to deny it now, nini bear! " Sehun obviously enjoying Jongin's " if looks could kill" glare.

" If you will say that it's Byun Baekhyun that you saw earlier, then YES! I have a crush on him and I didn't see anything wrong with that! " Jongin shrugged his shoulder, trying to appear cool though he really wanted to wiped the smiles of the two devils that unfortunately he called his best friends.

" WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY?!" Kyungsoo cannot believed what he just heard. He can't believe that Jongin doesn't like him and like Byun Baekhyun instead.

" I liked smart guy.. " Jongin shrugged.

" And obviously very beautiful! " Tao cuts him off.

" Who's beautiful? " Kris emerged again , clothes changed.

" Baekhyun. Can you believe that? " Kyungsoo answered him,

" Byun Baekhyun? Indeed beautiful! " Kris agreed, packing his things.

" You think so too? " Kyungsoo still cannot believed what his friends were saying.

" He is in one of my class, sometimes I sat close to him. So, yeah. He is really beautiful. Too beautiful for a guy in my opinion. " Kris explained.

" I have to agree with Kris. " Junmyeon nodding his head in agreement with his boyfriend.

" Wait! You have a crush on him too Sehun? " Kai suddenly remembered when Sehun said he will date Baekhyun too.

" Maybe. Maybe not. He just reminded me of someone I knew. " Sehun answered nonchalantly.

" I was really shocked when I saw him so close like earlier. He's so fucking beautiful even he was crying non stop! " Tao added.

" He was crying?" Jongin suddenly feel worried.

" Yes. That's why I approached him and his friend. I heard his friend asked Baekhyun if he needed to go to the hospital." Tao explained to answer his friends curiosity.

" But why? " Junmyeon asked.

" He said it was migraines. But he was clutching his chest like he was having a hard time to breathe and his tears were non stop. And when he opened his eyes.. I saw pure pain. Like he was hurting more emotionally than physically. It was so painful to look at. I never saw anyone who looks so pained like that. My mom had migraines too but I don't think she suffered like Baekhyun earlier. I really wanted to give him a hug, he really looks like he was breaking inside. " Tao cannot help but to feel worried and sorry for Baekhyun.

" Where is he now? " Jongin asked like he was ready to run where Baekhyun is.

" His friend drives him home. I hope Byun Baekhyun will feel better soon. " Tao still can't forget the pain he saw in Baekhyun's eyes, he wished that whatever pained him will go away soon.

In the corner of the room where Chanyeol and Dara were sitting, the giant heard the conversations his friends were having. And in all of that , all Chanyeol felt was anger. And to whom?, no one will ever know.
