Traumatized And Alone

Baekhyun wakes up for the third time that day, as soon as he opens his eyes,  a terrifying screams can be heard all over the hospital's room that he is in. Doctor and nurses rushes in to tend the frail man in bed who is trashing violently while his eyes are full of pure horror. They tried to subdue him but it seems that the horror he experienced last night gave him extra strength to be hysterical without realizing what  the environment that he is currently in. The doctor have no choice but to put him to sleep again, as the nurses wait for the drug to take effects, they watched as Baekhyun's body relaxed and closes his eyes once again. The doctor went out the room and approached the two police that were waiting outside.

" He is still unstable, it will be hard to talk to him right now for he is in deep trauma. Is there any information about him? " He asked.

" We still trying to find his belongings.. " One of the policeman shook his head. " The only way to get his informations is through him. We need to inform his family about what happened. " The man sighed.

" What happened to the men that did this to him? "

" They are in jail now. We are gathering more witnesses and apparently he is not their first victims. We try to find the others too so we can press charges. But for now, they can't escape being imprisoned for they are caught in the act and with drugs in their possessions, those scum bags will surely rot in jail. " The policeman assured the doctor who is in charge of Baekhyun.

Luckily for Baekhyun he was rescued just in time. A man saw he was being dragged to the abandoned gasoline station and called the police while following them. The police that patrolling that area responded quickly and police back up came fast. They barged inside surprising the criminals that hovering Baekhyun's unconscious body and subdued all four of them. Baekhyun was rushed into the hospital, badly beaten but not raped. After taking the four criminals to the police station, it was known that all of them have criminal records and repeat offenders.

Baekhyun on the other side drifted in and out of consciousness, but every time he opens his eyes he became hysterical that leave his doctor with no choice but to sedate him twice for the last eighteen hours. Today is Baekhyun's birthday, he is laying in a hospital bed without anyone by his side. The doctor and the policemen have no information about him as they wait patiently for the young man to be stable enough so they can talk to him and inform his family.

The day after his birthday, Baekhyun opens his eyes once again, but this time he is not hysterical anymore but horror is still visible in his eyes as he examines his surroundings. He realized he is in a hospital. He can feel severe pain in his torso and winced every time he moves. A nurse came to checked him . " Don't be afraid. You're safe now. " She smiled at him sympathetically. " Do you want some water? " She handed him a bottled water with a straw, Baekhyun took it with a shaking hands and drinks it, he was beyond thirsty.

A man in white coat came and smiled at him. " Hello, young man! I'm your attending doctor, Dr. Shim. " Baekhyun just stares at him and after a short while Baekhyun managed to say something.

" W-what happened? " He said in quivering voice, horror of that night creeping inside him once again.

" You was rescued in time, Someone saw you being dragged by those men and he called the police. They are in jai now and case was filed. " He explained as he examined Baekhyun's reactions.

Baekhyun lower his head and starts sobbing. The nurse beside him try to console him but Baekhyun flinched from the touch. Dr. Shim nodded to the nurse and she moved away giving back Baekhyun his personal space.

" There's two policemen waiting outside to talk to you. But if you still not comfortable talking about the incident, you don't need to force yourself. But we need your informations, so we can notify your family or guardians. You're here for two days now. "

" W-what is the date today? " Baekhyun asks between his sobs.

" 7th of May. And it's Sunday. " Baekhyun went silent once again as the doctor is waiting patiently for him to talk again.

" My name is P-pa - Lee Baekhyun. I'm an orphan and living alone with my d-dog. " Baekhyun lied.  " I came from Buncheon and currently looking for a job here in Seoul. I-I came from an i-interview that n-night. " He continues.

" Do you want to talk to the police now? "

Baekhyun really wants to get this over and done with just nods his head.

" Very well. " The doctor went out with the nurse and returned with two other men who he assumed are the police.

" How are you, Mr. Lee? " The older of the two police asked him carefully. " You think you are okay to talk about it now?"

Though Baekhyun is uncertain, he nods his head once again to them. And they start asking him questions about what happened that dreadful night. Baekhyun tries to answers them from his recollection of that night. After they explained to him that case was filed and he can file another case against his captors. Baekhyun said he will think about it when he is fully recover. The policemen nods with understanding.

" Are you sure you don't have anyone we can call to take care of you? ' The younger policeman asked him.

" No. " Baekhyun looks at Dr. Shim. " Can I rest now? "

" Of course! " His doctor agrees and the two policemen make their way out of the room after they left him their calling cards.

That night, Baekhyun's starts having nightmares as the horrors of that night crept into his dreams.
