It's been eight months since Baekhyun left South Korea for Australia and somehow he managed to settled in just fine. On the day of his arrival, Jongdae , Minseok's boyfriend fetched him at the airport. He was not expecting it but apparently Minseok planned it all for him. Jongdae is a very cheerful guy. He talked with a high pitch voice and seems not running out of topics to talk about. Being friends with him for months helped Baekhyun to improved his communication skills with other people. English language was never been a problem for him since he started reading English books since he was 6 years old and working part time at the most popular Korean cafe/restaurant in Sydney helped him practice his English speaking that sometimes he got a bit of the accent too.

He should be living in the university's dormitory but after meeting Luhan, Minseok's best friend, he forced him ( cutely) to moved with him in his apartment just a few blocks away from their school. He convinced him by saying living alone could be lonely since Jongdae lives in another city, an hour away from them. And since Baekhyun had enough of feeling lonely since his mother died , he agreed. And though living with the beautiful and childlike Luhan helped him forget his loneliness but not Chanyeol.

Maybe months already passed and despite being busy juggling his studies and part time jobs that sometimes his friends needed to reminds him to take some rest, Baekhyun still thinks about his husband everyday. Wondering how he's doing? Is he very happy now that he is away? Is everything well with him and Dara? Does he still loathed him?

Minseok already came for holiday twice. But Baekhyun have no guts to asked him about Chanyeol. His friend doesn't know anything about their relationship, though he had a feeling that Minseok thought he likes Chanyeol.

So, for eight months, Baekhyun tried his best to do well in school and keep up in life. Having Jongdae and Luhan now helps a lot, somehow he feels he have a family here. He decided to signed up for another 6 months in the program hoping that after a year of not seeing Chanyeol, all the pains that his husband inflicted on him will fade away.

But all his efforts were in vain when one night Chanyeol appeared in front of him with Dara.

A/N: I will try to finish this story as soon as I can seems I feel like it's taking too long. I supposed to finish this within a month but obviously it's been almost 2 months now. 😅 Bare with me for any disappointment or shortcomings. 🥴 And thank you for liking how the story goes and for your reactions.
