Yeri Is Back

NO!!! Baekhyun's mind screams in horror, fear creeping in his heart. This can't be true! Suddenly breathing becomes so hard for him.

" Is that why you're giving me shares of your company? Is that supposed to be a compensation or something if I divorce Chanyeol and let him be with your daughter?" Baekhyun found his voice but it sounds so small. He wipes his tears and focus on his breathing.

" I'm giving you that because you are my son! " The Chairman voice rises making Baekhyun flinch in fear.

" If only Chanyeol loves you and treating you well, I will never interfere with your life. Now, tell me Baekhyun - Does Chanyeol loves you?" The Chairman of course knew the answer to his question but he needs to say it hoping Baekhyun can see how he's been hurting his self being married to the man that loves someone else. He can live on the fact that his son will hate him more after this, but Baekhyun needs to wake up now from the nightmare he puts himself in.

Baekhyun's head hangs low because he cannot answer his father. Not that he doesn't know the answer but because his father is right. Chanyeol doesn't love him. But I'm sure he cares for me now. Baekhyun wants to scream that to the Chairman's face but how sure he is that Chanyeol really starts to care for him?

Few seconds of silence passed and the Chairman let out another sigh.

" Stop hurting yourself, Baekhyun. If Chanyeol is capable of loving you, he already did it a long time ago. " The Chairman said in a cold tone, seems not caring how his words crushed Baekhyun's heart.

" If he wants to be with Yeri, you should let him go. "

Baekhyun bit his lower lips so hard, tasting his own blood. He wants to scream from pain he is feeling right now. Why this man is so heartless?!!

A soft knock breaks the silence of the room. Baekhyun wipes his tears and composed himself, not wanting to looks like a crying mess in front of whoever behind the closed door.

" Come in.. " his father said. The door opens and Mr. Kim came in and behind him is the person that Baekhyun wished to never come back again.

" Hello there, little brother!! " Yeri smirks at him then walks torward in front of the Chairman to hugged him lightly that the Chairman returns. " Are you ready for tonight? " He asked her. " Yes, dad. I got it. No worries. " She said before settling on the chair opposite to Baekhyun.

" Sir, the plane will be ready in an hour. We should be going by now." Mr. Kim told their father. The Chairman nodded and stands up.

" Any problem, you call me. " He said softly to Yeri.

" Stop worrying, dad! It's not that I didn't know them. They are literally like a " family ". " Yeri said emphasizing the word " family" .

The Chairman sighed and nodded before turning into Baekhyun. " Think about what I told you. "

When Baekhyun didn't give him any response, he walks towards the door followed by Mr. Kim. Baekhyun and Yeri stood up to give him a farewell bow. When the door closes, Baekhyun grabs the folder on the table and was about to leave when Yeri stopped him.

" Why on a rush? Does dad scolded you so much? " Baekhyun looks at her, her smirks not leaving her gorgeous face.

" Sit down, Baekhyun. Let's have a little chat. We have so much catching up to do, don't you think so?" Yeri gestures the sit that he's been sitting earlier.
