Avery's POV:

A month has passed.

Oh how the time would passed by so quickly, been packing my stuffs for a flight back to LA for the first time since I came back here, home. Home is the place where you can make memorable moments that you won't ever forget.

Celebrating dad's birthday along with the 4th of July was taken down in my notes as one of the best memories ever made. It's a sad reality that I can't make it to attend my brothers weddings since they pinned it during the time of my classes which would be in the fall season.

For this fall, I'm planning to make some cardigans and muffins for the season. I would give some to the students of the University especially to my friends.

I was accompanied by my family on my way to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. We joked before saying goodbye, mom and dad wished me good lucks, especially my brothers and their girlfriends told me they would update me about their weddings . I told Alex that I'm going to be back in LA again so that if he'll send his letters, I can have it on time as soon as possible.

I kneeled in front of Chloe and Daphne; "Aunt Avery will be back soon, kiddos", I said as I gave the both of them a hug and a kiss on their foreheads.

"When will you come back, auntie?", Chloe asked with a slight frown.

"Sooner and sooner, I promise", I replied.

"It won't take long, right?", Daphne added.

"It won't , I promise. Promise me also kiddos that you won't fight again, alright?"

"We won't ", Chloe and Daphne retorted in unison.

I gave them a tight hug, carried Daphne in my arms for the last time, as the security was about to check my luggage, I passed Daphne to Ben, and gave my family a wave and promising then that I will be back again for Christmas.

When I boarded the economy class plane, I switched my phone to an airplane mode and Heaven by Bryan Adams was playing on my earphones. It was a 3 hour flight so I just slept until the plane landed safely on Los Angeles International Airport. I quickly grabbed my luggage and I frowned a bit of being distant from my family again. When I was in Arlington, they'd make my day, we went on beaches and tourist spots, and so on. One of my wish lists is that I can take them here in LA and live a new life here but I can't due to papa's business.

I quickly fetched a taxi on my way to my home. The house I bought. Taxes and payments were increasing, so instead, I bought the house for good keeps.

When I unlocked the door of my home, the driver helped me to bring my stuffs along. I paid him $30.50 as a result for helping a bit even though I was extremely tired from the flight.

"Thank you", was all he said and I gave him a warm smile in return.

As I entered, it was quiet. Because it was just me living alone here ever since. I laid down for a bit on the couch and stared at the ceiling, overthinking of what's to happened in the fall season of classes. I opened my phone to see if someone's texted me, and it was the group chat.

"Welcome back to The City of Angels again, bitch Summers", Perry texted.

"And I thank you for the warmest welcome", I sarcastically replied.

The topic changed from my homecoming to celebrating Perry's birthday celebration in his place tomorrow. God I missed that place so much ever since I made it home again. All of us got invited and I was confused if I'll ever attend the party or not since I was still tired. The said party was a pool party and I'm really not into it. Three days from now would be my cousin Camille's birthday party. Let me tell you about her, she's really annoying yet a funny person to encounter with, along with her Latina best friend, Adriana Castillo.
