Avery's POV:

To celebrate the victory of our game, we just celebrated it on the day of my wonderful day instead.

"Happiest birthday, Avery!", all of them cheered as Alex and I entered the venue. He didn't tell me that the venue was exquisite as he just told me it would be the two of us celebrating. Alex invited Matt, Jamie, Nick, their girlfriends, my teammates and Jonathan, the whole Delusional group, even his touring members, and even Aunt Emily, Noah, Camille, Adrianna.

Ecstatic, the event was whimsical as I never got to experience this kind of celebration in the past years. Aunt Emily was so happy, especially Noah and Fiona, as they finally got to meet Alex and the rest of the Arctic Monkeys in person.

They even gave me gifts that I never asked for but I was grateful instead to have them like more books to read, sweaters, tops and jeans, dresses, keychains.

Abigail and Tommy gave me this bouquet of flowers that were sparkling as you got to turn it on;

"This is so beautiful and cute", I said while fiddling with the bouquet

"Somebody from this group told us to buy this one for you", Abigail smirked as I really had no idea whether they were just joking or their gift really came from them. And then Abigail pointed to Alex, in which he was still talking with Aunt Emily and Noah, I shook my head from side to side, chuckling. Alex really had the nerves to ask my friends to buy gifts for me.

"Enjoy your birthday, mom", Abigail kissed my cheek and hugged each other as she and Tommy made their way with the Delusional gang on the spare table, continuing talking.

And then, they sang a loud "happy birthday" in chorus as Alex was holding the huge cake, the candles were already shining as they sang.

" Make a wish", Alex said, still holding the cake with that triumphant smile on his face

I sighed for a moment as all of them interrupted with a , "come on, Avery, you can do it", as they held up their phones to film videos and photos of me, blowing the cake.

"As I get to kiss goodbye at 23, I now welcome 24 years with a new chapter, leaving the past behind, and get to see the new wonders of my environment. And now for my wish, I couldn't think of anything to say about this, but my only wish for this wonderful year ahead, is to spend my life with the wonderful people who became a huge part in my life especially you guys my friends, Aunt Emily and to the rest of my family in Arlington, and of course, with you, Alex", I then blew the candles and they clapped after that, Alex placed the cake on the table and began with

" 1,2,3, happy birthday, Avery!", Alex let the whole people in the room sing the birthday song as he blew the party horn. I smiled at his gesture.

Alex then placed his hand on my hips, "Happy Birthday, baby", he whispered as he kissed my temple and he swayed us from side to side.

Oscar and Matt were taking photos of every moment in the entire celebration. Meanwhile, Aunt Emily and Camille got engaged in conversation with Breana and Kelly. This was the first time that Camille finally met the rest of the band's girlfriends. And also, I was shocked that Pierre and Bridgette were already holding hands, they seemed to be in love as I approached them;
