Alex's POV:

We made it to France. We sang in front of the thousands of crowd in the Rock en Seine, an annual music festival in France. I even learned on how to speech some phrases (though it turned out bad cause it's not my native one) such as merci, merci beaucoup, bonjour, mon amour, and more. It was just basic French.

After the show, the boys and I (including their girlfriends) made our way to a local French pub, which is not far away from the show we performed to have some drinks after the show's success. Miles was along with us but he had to go back to his hotel room immediately to have a rest.

I sat on the stool and the bartender just gave me eyes while wiping the glass with a cloth;

"Want any drinks, sir?", he suddenly asked after cleaning the cup

"Just a tequila will do", I replied as I paid him €3,00

He made his way to prepare my request, meanwhile, while I was just looking around for the boys, a random blonde woman kept staring at me so I looked away in order to not get distracted.

She sat down beside me; "Hey", she muttered in her seductive French accent.

It was awkward to talk to someone who you didn't even know in the first place and yet I returned back with a, "hi" while I looked at the ground in order to not make an eye contact with her.

"How are you doing these days?", she randomly asked, I was not comfortable with this kind of thing.

"Feeling better, actually", I lied, wanted to end the conversation already.

I then looked above and just stared at the bottles displayed on the bartender's section, really wanted to ignore this girl, and I don't wanna be rude too since I'm out in a public place.

"I saw you and your band earlier. You guys really rocked the night",

Okay.

"Thank you very much", I giggled.

Then the bartender appeared again with my drink being held in his hand, the girl received it and passed it to me, I was tempted to make an eye contact with her;

"The name's Valerie, by the way", she informed as I took a sip of my drink.

I can't flirt with this Valerie girl, she's not even one of my friends, and yet, in order to not be rude in the first place, I talked to her still.

"Oh, you don't have to be that polite while I was about to receive my drink, thanks for it by the way", I put my glass down on the counter and she was twirling her hair using her fingers, giving me a seductive smile.

Dude, what's even wrong with this girl?

I avoided her stare and just looked at the boys enjoying their drinks with their girlfriends, she then tapped me on the shoulder and handed me a card;

"That's my number over there, if you wanna call me of course, gonna go back to my friends right now. Thanks for the small talk, Alex", she pointed at the card she gave and then I looked at it which specified her name and address, and then she made her way back to her friends.

Seriously, I don't have the interest of talking to Valerie, no time for her at all. My mind was being too focused to someone else.

The night was still young. I stood from the stool and made my way to the boys, then suddenly, out of nowhere, Nick asked me;

"No talking to Avery tonight?", it was a sudden question as I sat down between Matt and Jamie.

I shook my head in return.
