Avery's POV:

After long errands of work and enrolling for the final senior year in college, I told myself that everything was fine and had to wait by next year to finally finish college and to obtain the degree I've been deserving the most.

I almost forgot that today was the day I was supposed to watch the Glastonbury festival via television. Alex would rant to me about being nervous in front of thousands and I just told him that he could really do it especially when he can charm everyone, especially the ladies. Especially our group chat was filled with noise as Lando, Bryce, George, and Tommy sent photos of the venue. They were making all of us envious.

I turned on the television, I was waiting for the band to come over and minutes later, they inherited the whole stage with thousands of people cheering for them. Alex was wearing a silver suit, underneath was a black polo, and of course, black slacks and leather shoes as always. His hair was gelled and slicked back as always, everything was perfect about the band's appearance as they were the rock stars from the seventies.

It was nighttime in England while a sunny day California has nothing to do with the time zones. And then Alex began singing and being accompanied with his guitar as always. Let me tell you the truth, Alex holding with instruments is so damn hot. Everything was perfect about the performance especially when Jamie and Alex made the guitar riffs perfectly, Nick perfectly strung his bass, and Matt smashed his drums so hard. Especially when Alex yelled "ladies!" before singing I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor, everything about the performance was sizzling. The funny part also, Alex was really messing up with the crowd as he kid around to sing Yellow by Coldplay, I just laughed at this man.

The four boys from our friendship group continued to envy us by sending picture and videos on our group chat from the band's performance. The four of them were in the front pitch, the aura of Alex as Lando sent the photo was complete perfection. I even filmed a video of their performance on television, to excitingly tell Alex of how supportive I was for him and the band.

"Fuck you all for not taking the rest of us there", Charles texted, in which I just laughed and continued watching the live performance.

When the moment 505 came, it was the sweetest moment that Alex had ever did to his mother, to sing and greet her a "happy birthday" as the crowd sang along with him. There his mother was, being happy for her son, I may not even seen her in person but at least I got to know her face. Alex literally inherited his mother's smile. And when the song started playing, Miles appeared in the flesh and I started cheering for them. It was the last song for the set.

The show ended. Alex thanked the crowd for spending time with them . He promised that until next time, they'd be performing again. They were amazing as always. Amazingly carved into perfection, and after that, they went backstage with the crowd cheering still.

I didn't hesitate to cook my lunch after that. I was supposed to eat after cooking my favorite waffles but suddenly, a message in our group chat just interrupted again; Logan sent the photos of the four of them with the band. They just sneaked in the backstage area. They really thought we were envious and the rest of the messages were filled with jokes such as "we would've been there if you didn't go back there in England", "oh how lucky you four", and so on.

Bryce sent a photo of him and Alex by captioning "who's here?"

Until Bryce sent a video of Alex and I played it;

"Hi there, Avery! How are ya? Thank you so, so much for supporting us there in LA. We'll be back sooner and sooner and I can't wait to see ya again. This message is a regards for you-", Alex was thinking of the right words to say after that, "Just yeah - I hope you're doing well there in LA and good luck with everything especially in your final year of college", the video ended with Alex waving a hand and a bit of flying kiss. He's such a dork.
