It has been three years already. I cannot believe it. I sit in front of my husband's grave and stare at the photo engraved onto it. I took it on our honeymoon. He was the happiest man alive after our marriage. He spent all of his free time with me, acting like we were teens again, going on dates, and having the time of our lives. He gave me the greatest gift ever, a sweet baby girl, and now, left me alone in this world, to figure out the rest on my own.

"Mommy." Abby comes running towards me, stained in mud. "Mommy look what I found." She hands a lotus to me.

"Thank you, Abby. Did you get mud all over you just to get me this flower?" She nods with a proud smile on her face. The exact same smile that Kai would give me when he did something wrong and had no idea it was a mistake. "Shall we leave now?"

I touch his photo one last time and stand up to leave knowing that I might not return in a long time.

"Mommy, shall we give Dad the flower?" I look at the flower in my hand and down at the grave. He hated lotus. He liked roses more but I am sure he would gladly accept the lotus his daughter picked. I hand the flower to our little girl to place on the grave.

I hold her hand tightly and head back to our car. I fasten the belt around her and head over to the driver's seat. As I am about to start driving back home, Lisa's name appears on my phone.

"Hey, we are about to leave now. We will arrive in about thirty minutes." She tells me where we can find the two of them and cuts the call and I start driving, away from my husband for probably the rest of our lives. We are leaving this country and I don't know if I would ever come back again. Lisa started a business after the divorce and it turned out pretty well, I have been doing therapy and counseling for a few couples and now after moving to Australia, I plan on working as a teacher and giving up on doing therapy. As much as it hurts me to stop doing what I love, I realized that I am not a suitable person to advise people on how to maintain a relationship.

We arrive at the airport and I find Lisa after we park the vehicle. Mum and Dad were talking with her while Liam was looking up at the sky, watching the planes come and go.

"Hey Dad, here are the keys." I give my father the car keys after I take all our baggage out of the car. A chauffeur that Lisa had already hired, helped us get the bags inside the airport. After crying for around ten minutes each, Lisa and I finally got ourselves to get the kids and head inside. "I am gonna miss those two."

"Let's find a way to convince them to come there with us. First, we need to settle in." Lisa guided all of us through the whole airport process regardless of the fact that I have flown on my own before. I like being under her control at times like these though. It allows me to switch my brain off. Once we boarded the plane, we sat down in our assigned seats, Abby holding on to my pinky the whole time.

"Abby, are you okay baby?" I ask, tucking the pieces of hair that have escaped behind her ear. "Don't worry okay? This is gonna be fun." She relaxes after my words of affirmation and closes her eyes as we take off. A few minutes after we were flying in the air she opened her eyes to look out at the clouds and from that point onwards, I had nothing to worry about. She would stare at them through the whole ride if she could.

After about 10 hours of flying, we finally landed safely in Sydney. Lisa guided us from this point onwards until she got us to the apartment she had bought where both of us along with the two kids will be living. It was in the middle of the city, unlike back home. It was a busy city and a loud city but now it's too late to turn back and maybe it will be good for a change. Once all our luggage was carried up into our apartment, we finally got the chance to lie down and catch our breath. As our children ran around the apartment, and stared out of the large glass windows at the busy roads beneath us, Lisa and I closed our eyes and took a nap on the couch itself.

"Mommy," I hear a slight whisper against my ear. "Mommy, I am hungry." I get off the couch to find Liam and Abby staring at me. I look over at Lisa and see that she is still sleeping so it looks like I am in charge of the kids for now. I grab my purse and the two kids and head out. I remember seeing a cafe nearby, so I take them there for a small snack. I get Liam a chocolate croissant and Abby a butter croissant. I bought myself a cup of coffee and the two kiddos got a cup of hot chocolate each.

"Nini look," Liam points towards the road through the large glass windows beside our table. "Looks like Tannie."

Tannie? TANNIE?

The second I realize who Liam is talking about, I look in the direction he is pointing at to see a little pomeranian being carried in the arms of a man, wearing a black hoodie over his head and a black face mask covering his face.

"Wait here," I tell them and run out of the cafe and after the man. I don't know what I am gonna tell him after chasing him but I need to at least see his face. Among the huge crowd of people, I finally spot the man so I run up to him and barely touch his should which made him stop. "Tae?"

The man turned around. Now I can finally see his face.
