No matter how hard I tried to forget these tiny details about her, I couldn't. Every time I see something, it reminds me of Jennie in some way or another. I don't even know if I tried enough. I just don't think I want to forget these things. After all, when we parted ways, I did promise her to be there for her if she ever needed me. If I forget her, which I clearly couldn't, it would mean I broke the promise I made to her.

Does she even remember the promise? Does she even care?

I pay for the drinks and this time I call an Uber even though I wish to walk with her. It would give us plenty more time with each other before we join our families but I can't let her walk all the way. She pretends to be strong, but I know my-, I mean, I know Jennie well enough.

We get inside the car and head back to the field. When Rose asked me if I was free for a picnic with them, I told her I was busy because I had an appointment with a client but I couldn't miss an opportunity to see her so I had to go out of my way to reschedule the appointment. I didn't even tell Hailey to come because even though I would love to see jealous Jennie, I didn't want to hurt her. She could deny as much as she wanted but I can see it. She hates to see us together.

The car ride was silent. She barely says anything now. I wish she talked more. I wish she laughed more. I miss seeing her happy. We walk inside with all the drinks and everyone else is already outside on the field, prepping everything for the picnic. Jimin bought this land and when he told me he was gonna grow tulips in here, I was furious. However, today I see why he decided to do that. I see how happy Rose is when she is with the flowers. He did this for her happiness. I find this man a simp but it's honestly a relief that he loves my sister dearly.

I notice Jennie scanning the field of flowers, either observing the pretty view or looking for Hailey. My doubt is solved when she asks me why Hailey didn't come.

"Nopes."

She didn't ask any more questions and continued walking and with every step she took, I could see her smile grow wider. The picnic table was in the middle of the field where the two ladies were arranging all the food on the table. The kids were running around playing catch, chased by Jimin.

"Did you bring the drinks?" Rose asks as she sees us approach them. I lift the bag filled with drinks and she looks relieved. "I completely forgot about the drinks. I don't know how."

"You are growing old sis, which means your memory is fading."

"Sure." Rose rolls her eyes at her brother but still maintains a smile on her face. "Jennie, there is a pond if you go a bit further. Lisa said you might go crazy if you saw it."

Of course, she would go crazy. This woman had a special attachment to water bodies. I mean the look on her face just by hearing the word pond showed how much she loves them. Rose asks me to show it to her and I gladly guide the lady toward the pond. It was at the very end of the field where the flower patches ended. There were huge rocks around the pond to prevent the kids from falling in.

Just as the pond came into sight, her face lit up, like a small child and she even shrieked out of excitement.

"Can I get onto the rock please?" She asks me like a toddler asking her parent for permission and obviously, the cuteness made it hard for me to say no. I let her hold my hand and stand on top of the rock. "Can you take a picture please?" She hands me her phone which I hold with my left hand and with my right hand, I am still holding onto her hand. Once I make sure she is balanced on the rock I carefully let go of her hand and quickly snap a picture and hold her hand again. The last thing I need is to see her fall into the pond.

After like twenty minutes of sitting on the rock while holding onto my hand, we had to return to the table because Rose called out for everyone to come eat

After like twenty minutes of sitting on the rock while holding onto my hand, we had to return to the table because Rose called out for everyone to come eat. Like why??? Couldn't you arrange the table for a bit longer? Rose had placed a drink in front of each seat and we had to sit in the seat where our favorite drinks sat. I sat in front of the coke and coincidently, Jennie's iced tea was right next to mine.

"Wait isn't the beer for you?" I shook my head. She waited to see who the beer was for and when Rose sat in front of it, she let out a gentle chuckle.

"Didn't know she drinks?" She shook her head. "She is a drunkard but has a very high tolerance. You should see her when she goes clubbing."

"Clubbing? You're going clubbing?" Rose overheard our conversation. "When are you going clubbing? Omg, we should all go clubbing!"

"Rose, calm down. You have kids to look after." Jimin tells his wife calmly to not upset her. See. Simp.

"Jimin think about it. We drop the kids off at Mum's and go clubbing. It's just one night. We haven't gone out in ages. Please, baby, think about it." She leans over to Jimin and shows her 'puppy eyes' which Jimin can't say no to. He kisses her on the cheek and nods.

"Gross," I say out loud and Rose gives me a deadly look. I smile in return which is supposed to piss her off.

"Don't make me tell everyone about the time I walked in on you and Hailey f-"

"STOP. Stop." I cut her off to, make sure she doesn't say it out loud. I didn't want Jennie to hear this and be upset. "I am sorry. I will take you clubbing for it. Don't worry. Now please, shush."

I look at Jennie and notice her smile has now faded. Why does it bring me a slight hint of joy? While I worry about Jennie, Rose planned everything to go clubbing. Next Friday, both families minus the kids (who will be dropped off at Jimin's mum's house), at 10 pm meet up at Jimin's place. From there, we will take Jimin's G Wagon which will be driven by his driver so that everyone can get drunk if they want to.

"Taehyung, bring Hailey with you. She is the best to go clubbing with." I don't want to.

"Sure."

I liked this whole idea. I get to watch Jennie dance and have fun. I get to see that smile again. However, I don't know if it will be successful with Hailey being there but I can't just leave her at home and go clubbing. I had no choice so I decided to enjoy today as much as I could, with Jennie.

I lean towards Jennie and whisper "There is a pretty forest down the road. Wanna go for a walk?" She looks at the others who seem busy planning their "clubbing night" and the kids who were too busy eating. She then looks back at me and nods her head happily.

"Rose, I am gonna show Jennie around." Rose doesn't really care even if we left so she nods her head. Jimin gives me a weird look but I ignore it. I grab our drinks and head towards the gate.

"Tae wait. Can I change first?"

"You brought clothes?" She nods. "Sure then. You can change in the guest room." I show her the guest room and she goes inside and locks the door. I go outside and sit on the steps until she returns. In like 5 minutes I hear the door unlock and her footsteps approach me. I turned around and saw her, wearing a long baby blue dress and her hair untied.

She looks perfect as always.
