Kirishima stood between his-their-bedroom and the guest bedroom.
He was thinking it over and over again. Fighting between wether or not he should just go to bed and hope things get better in the morning or he should knock and hope Bakugou was listening to what he had to say.
Midoriya told him to trust his heart. He knew Bakugou the best. He knew what to say to the blond and what to do. But right now Bakugou wasn't acting like Bakugou. He has no clue where to begin and what would actually be helpful.
Kirishima turned on his phone and checked the time: nine fifty-two. Bakugou was probably in bed but he also knew the blond had a hard time falling asleep when he was upset. It was more likely that he was still awake.
Kirishima sighed and approached the door. He knocked on it softly.
"Katsuki..." he whispered, unsure if Bakugou heard it all. He didn't really heard himself say it. "Katsuki, will you please talk to me?" He pleaded, his voice cracking.
He heard shuffling, but Bakugou didn't respond.
"Will you at least listen?" He asked. Again, no response. Kirishima slid down and sat on the floor, leaning against the door. "I was afraid to tell you because I knew you'd feel guilty about it," he told Bakugou through the door.
"I don't blame you, I never would've," he explained. "You don't have anything to feel guilty about," he clarified.
"But I knew you wouldn't feel that way," he continued. "That you would still feel guilty for something you had no control over."
Kirishima waited for Bakugou to say something. But nothing. The redhead sighed.
"It's not just that," finally, something. Bakugou's voice was quiet and croaky which tugged on Kirishima's heartstrings, but it was undeniably him. "When-" the blond swallowed, seeming to get worked up over just trying to talk about it.
"When I learned that-I was the one to hurt you, I started getting memories of times we fought or I hit you," he explained. "I just don't understand why you would want to be around someone like me," Bakugou started crying.
"All I've ever done was hurt you," he whimpered.
"No, Katsuki," Kirishima sighed. "The hitting thing was just your way of showing affection," he let out a breathy laugh. "Of course, you did ended up showing affection the typical way, but hitting was just your thing."
"I mean, you've done it to everyone, not just me," he added. "But those memories..."
It was quiet for a second before Kirishima spoke up again:
"Would you like to recieve another one?" He asked.
"Huh?" Bakugou asked in confusion. Kirishima laughed.
"You missed the part-this part-where we would make up," the redhead turned over and pressed his back against the door. "Where we would hug the life out of each other and kiss each other repeatedly."
"Where we would say we're sorry," Kirishima continued. "Are you getting anything?" He asked. He heard the door unlock and felt it being opened. He turned to look up at Bakugou. He looked as though he had been crying and tugging on his hair, something Bakugou did when extremely upset.
"Maybe...we have to do that for something to happen," he tugged on his shirt and even though he was looking down at him, his eyes weren't. Instead, they were off looking to the side.
Kirishima smiled at how shy the blond was being and wordlessly stood up. Bakugou looked at him a little surprised by the sudden motion.
"I'm sorry baby," Kirishima wrapped his arms around the blond, squishing him into his chest. Bakugou didn't hug back at first, making notice of his face being pressed into the redhead's chest and Kirishima's shoulder blocking his face. How warm and safe he felt as those muscular arms held him close, protecting him.
He hugged the redhead back as the memories of their sad moments in their relationship. Where they would hug the life out of each other, kiss each other to death, and say that they were sorry like Kirishima had described.
The redhead pressed a kiss to Bakugou's blond hair and smoothed it out. The blond let out a relaxed sigh and leaned more into Kirishima and his touch.
"You wanna come back to our bed?" Kirishima asked, still petting Bakugou's hair. The blond hummed and nodded his head. The redhead let go of Bakugou but grabbed his hand and led him back to their bedroom, the blond having quietly closed the guest bedroom door behind him.
"Satisfied?" Kirishima asked as he laid down on their bed. Bakugou thought about it before he shook his head. That confused the redhead.
"I haven't been kissed to an inch of my life," he explained. Kirishima chuckled and sighed, rolling his eyes. He curled his fingers to lure Bakugou to their bed. The blond climbed into their bed and laid down beside the redhead.
Kirishima held the blond's waist and leaned in to kiss him. The kiss was sweet, at first. It got more heated the more it went on.
"All good?" The redhead asked after he finally broke the kiss between them. Bakugou thought about it before he shook his head with a smile. Kirishima huffed, a smile of his own growing on his face before he went back in to give Katsuki more kisses.
It was a lot longer before they separated the kiss and this time it was quiet afterwards before Bakugou spoke up:
"Y'know..." he began. "It doesn't have to be the direct place...right?" He asked. Kirishima realized what he was asking and a smirk grew on his face.
"Only one way to find out, right?" He asked in return.
They did end up getting those memories back.

The next morning came in too early. Well, the next afternoon. They ended up going to bed far later than they usually did. So it ended up being a lazy day for all of them. Their day officially started when Bakugou woke up first, being snuggled into Kirishima's chest.
"You fuckin' stink," he complained, shoving Kirishima away causing the redhead to laugh. Instead of allowing himself to be shoved away, he moved in closer and planted a kiss on Bakugou's cheek. He groaned and tried to wiggle out. The redhead laughed again.
"Get off me," he whined. Kirishima did let go and back up, still chuckling a little. He turned over to look at what time it was: one thirty-seven. Bakugou wasn't lying when he said the redhead stanked. He was a little sweaty, probably due to his personal heater (Bakugou) and the blanket they had thrown over them.
"I'll go take a shower," he told Bakugou as he got up, wiping some of the sweat off of himself with his hands.
"Should I take one too?" The blond asked. Kirishima looked over.
"Yeah," he nodded his head. "You could join me if you want," he said out loud without realizing.
"Really?" Bakugou questioned. Kirishima hummed, still not having realized what he said. "I could join you in the shower?"
Kirishima straightened up.
"I mean...you could if you want to," he responded, a small blush on his face. "Do you want to...?" He asked hesitantly.
"Yeah," Bakugou said firmly. It surprised the redhead, but he knew it was something the typical Bakugou would say. The blond always took whatever opportunity he was given to join Kirishima in the shower.
"Okay, well..." he began. "You go start the shower, I'll message Midoriya about what happened," he gestured towards the bathroom in their bedroom and grabbed out his phone.
"In detail?" Bakugou asked, a humerous smile on his face. Kirishima's face turned red.
"About your new memories!" He shouted, shoving Bakugou lightly. The blond laughed and entered their bathroom. Kirishima sent Midoriya a quick text before tossing his phone on the bed and joining Bakugou in the bathroom.
