taehyung's pov:

I dragged my feet along the dirty looking ground of the school corridors. it was break time and I was on my way to meet jimin and jin but our favourite spot to hang at school. the tree. the tree is the best hangout spot in my opinion, it is quiet has lots of shade and is away from lots of people but at the same time you can still see everyone on the courts and field. 

"there you are, you took forever" I heard jimin say as I reach the tree, I let out a sigh in relief as I sit on the grass. going straight for my food as I hand them a few things. 

"sorry the corridors were packed" I said, leaning my back against the tree as we all look out towards the field. 

"so how was the conversation with that guy you matched with last night?" jimin asked, raising his eyebrows at me and I just rolled his eyes. 

jin gasped "tell me" he said, wanting everything to be spilled. I dont tell them very much about online dating cause sadly it never seems to lead anywhere, it is embarrassing to tell them I really like someone and then the guy ghosts me. 

with the guy I spoke to last night I am trying not to get my hopes up. 

"his username is goo and he is my age. the first message he sent me was a funny and weird fact about fish." I say, looking at jin who frowns. 

"really? that is it?" he asks, looking disappointed as well as jimin. 

"guys come on. every person that has messaged me either wants to suck my ass or wants a quick fuck. it was nice to have someone message me something funny for once" I try to explain. 

"did you guys talk about anything else?" jimin asked, hoping that there was something else. 

I nodded "we talked about why we were on the app and he asked if I was looking for a relationship or a hook up" 

"since we know you answer what was his?" jimin asked

"he is looking for something serious" I reply, taking a bite of my sandwich as I look at my friends who smile

"do you like him?" jimin whispers and I bite back the urge to roll my eyes. 

"dude it has been like one day, it takes a lot more then that to gain feelings. but I am interested" I mutter the last bit but it was still heard from the two infront of me who squealed. I laughed and shook my head, looking at the court to see the same people playing basketball. 

jimin followed taehyung's gaze, and soon sighed. 

"tae, why dont you try talk to him" he suggested, I looked at him and shook my head. 

"yeah tae, try. it cant hurt" jin back jimin up.

"guys there is no point, he does not even know who I am anyways. also you know the amount of shit I would get if I went up to talk to him and luke saw" I explain, watching as jimin shook his head. 

"i hate luke. I was at yoongi's house two nights ago and luke went over to his as well and he was such a ass" jimin muttered, if looks could kill the person would be dead. 

"let me guess he was talking about me?" I put in, sighing when jimin nodded his head. 

"he is going to make everyone in this school bully me. whenever he says something people believe it" I argue, wanting to seriously punch him in the face. 

"anyways. why dont you hang out with us tomorrow, jungkook will be there" jin suggested, but i shook my head. 

"there is not poi-" I started but was cut off

"for god sake taehyung, he is the only guy that you have some type of attraction to. no one else has ever caught your eye, your heart is probably telling you something" jin commented.

"I appreciate how much you both care but I wanna see where this thing with goo could go" I reply back, my eyes going back onto jungkook who stripped from his shirt and continued to play basketball. 

I gulp.
