The Fault In Romance

"hey you have not been to training's lately, is everything okay?" I ask yoongi who nodded, patting my shoulder. 

"I have just been trying to juggle assessments and basketball, we have a game coming up soon but I also have a test I need to study for. its like coach wants you to succeed at both but wants us to show up to training every time" yoongi said, drinking his favourite beer as he leaned against the couch, watching jimin play pool with the others. 

"nah I get it" I said, I get where he is coming from. I dont blame him cause I am in the same situation as well. 

"how do you think the others are doing at training?" yoongi asked

"ryan is great. the others seem to be slacking a little, messing around during training which is fine but not all the time. especially when we have an important game coming up" I reply, looking towards the boys who were all playing games

"how are you and jimin?" I ask, taking a sip of my water as I did not feel like anything fizzy before bed. 

"we are good. we are both so busy that we are trying to find time for each other. it has been a bit of a problem." yoongi whispered

"why dont we all have like a study day, once a week at someones house. we eat food, study for an hour then have a break and then go back to studying. then if we get stuck we can help each other out" I suggested. yoongi seemed to like the idea. 

"we should invite taehyung, I heard from jimin he is really smart. also I want to get to know him more" yoongi said, looking at me to see my displeased look. 

"calm down kook, I wanna get to know him cause he is important to my boyfriend. that matters to me. I also want taehyung to feel like he has friends he can lean on outside of jimin and jin. he seems like a cool guy and he is always there for jimin and jin when they need, he seems like a good friend to have." yoongi stated, looking at his drink to see it was empty after trying to take another sip. 

"Im going to get another drink" yoongi said, getting up from the couch and heading out the room towards the kitchen. 

I sigh for a little before I look around the room to see taehyung and ryan were not in the room. I frown and get up, as I met the frame of the door I turned to the others and let them know I am going to play a movie in the cinema room so if they want to watch to come with me. 

everyone ended up following behind. I was the first to enter the cinema room and my eyes landed on ryan and taehyung who were sitting next to each other, their pinkies linked as if they were making a promise. 

"there you guys are, everything okay?" I ask, walking towards them as ryan nodded. 

"everything is algood here. we watching a movie?" ryan asks and I nod. 

"I will sort the movie out, you sit down" ryan said patting my shoulder as he heads up to pick a movie. I sit down next to taehyung asking if it would be okay if I could sit next to him. when he nodded his head and smiled, I could not help but to smile. 

"how are you?" I ask him as I sit down next to him. 

"I am good, feeling tired though" he whispered. 

"well if you fall asleep during the movie, feel free to use my shoulder" I winked, hoping I was not taking it to far but when he giggled and looked at me... I knew we were good. 

"I will take you up on that offer" he whispered, our eyes never leaving each other as we both fell silent. 

"horror movie it is!" ryan screamed as everyone cheered, everyone but taehyung who tensed. 

"not a fan?" I asked and he shook his head

"i will get them to change it-" I started, about to get up when I felt a hand grasp my wrist. 

"no, its okay. I will just sleep for a little anyways, everyone is excited to watch it. I will be fine" he said, I was hesitant but asked if he was sure. when he nodded his head I sat back down. 

"if it get's to much tell me and we can leave" I reassured him. 

"thank you gguk" he whispered, I blushed at the nickname and before he apologised for it I said 

"keep it, I like it" we both looked at the large cinema screen when all the lights went out and the movie was starting. it was now dark in the room and I could see jimin heading my way. 

"is taehyung with you" he whispered and I nodded.

"is he okay?" he asks and I give him the thumbs up. i watch as jimin smiles and goes to sit back with yoongi. 

as the movie plays and there is lots of jump scares and laughter from the guys, I notice taehyung let out yawns and also flinching at the jump scares. minutes later I feel a weight on my shoulder and smile when I look to the side to see taehyung had fallen asleep on my shoulder. 

I readjusted to make sure his neck was supported. it only made me want to pull him into my lap, so that he could fall asleep on my chest. so I could wrap my arms around him and peck his forehead, cheek and neck. 

fighting back the urge to do so is hard. 

but having him this close to me was such a nice feeling.
