The Fault In Romance

two weeks flew by like nobody's business. jungkook's mum was conscious by the third day, she felt so much guilt for what happened with ara. from what jungkook found out, when his mum collapsed ara was passed to a close friend of his mums, who is a teacher at the school. he was meant to look after her and was meant to come find jungkook after classes but then criminal offences were found by police and the teacher that had ara found out the police were on their way to question him about something and he hit the alarm and left ara in the room by herself. 

taehyung could not believe it when he heard it. he was just thankful ara was okay now. taehyung got to meet jungkook's father, only for a minute because he got a call saying mrs jeon had woken up. taehyung took care of ara while jungkook and his father went to go check on her. 

taehyung was now back at his own house. mrs jeon and mr jeon were back at the house now. mrs jeon was given time off work but wanted to get back into work, she has shorter hours for now until she if fully better. 

taehyung was not able to meet mrs jeon sadly but he does hope one day he gets too. he was now at school, having his free class. he had been reading his book of course. he is nearly finished it which he is sad about. he looked out the window and watched as some students were walking about. 

his eyes landed on jungkook who was talking to amber. it had been two weeks since amber stopped them in the hallway to talk to jungkook and now the brunette is seeing them together more. taehyung did feel quite shit about it, he and jungkook have not talked much lately. 

all the flirting and touches kinda felt like nothing now. taehyung sighed when he heard the bell ring. he stood up and packed his things before he went back into the school to grab something from his locker before he goes home. 

the hallways were empty by the time taehyung got inside, he reached his locker and immediately gasped when he was thrown against it. the air getting knocked out of his lungs. he felt his nose start to ooze with blood as he coughed. 

"maybe you need your glasses back on nerd" luke said, crouching down to taehyung's eye level. 

"you never seem to take my advice taehyung"

"have you seen jungkook and amber lately. they are close now, I even saw them hugging just before. it does suck that your little fairy tale ended, people like you always end up being lonely. it is sad seeing you have so much confidence with jungkook just for him to crush it into little pieces."

"you probably will spend the rest of you life lonely" luke sighed, looking at taehyung's teary eyes. 

"whats even a pitty is that everyone thinks your just around jungkook to get popular, people are putting that into his head now. hes gone from trusting you to not trusting you, maybe you should just give up" luke said, soon looking at his watch and standing up. 

taehyung bit his lower lip trying to hold back those tears for those hurtful words. 

"what the fuck did you do luke!" an angry voice said from down the hallway, both males shot their head towards the direction of the voice to see ryan jogging towards him. taehyung and ryan's eyes met before ryan gripped lukes shirt and pushed him against the locker. 

"why the fuck are you hurting him" ryan was angry, he knew something was happening between them but was always a person to try mind his own business. for a split second luke did seem worried before he started speaking. 

"ryan, he is a low life. he is using jungkook for his popularity." luke said, pushing ryan off him before he looks at his watch again. 

"well I have to go, by losers" walking away as if he did nothing. ryan crouched down by taehyung who now had his knee's tucked to his chest. the tears falling. to ryan it looked like taehyung's world just crushed down. 

ryan felt his own eyes get teary watching how broken taehyung looked. ryan did not know what to say, he had so many questions but he knew taehyung just needed to be with someone right now. 

taehyung was just looking straight silently crying as he sat frozen. 

"taehyung? ryan?" ryan shot his head towards the direction of the voice to see jungkook walking towards them. the raven had just finished talking to coach about something before he went to grab something from his locker. he stopped in his steps when he saw ryan crouched down by taehyung, he called their names and walked closer. when they both got clearer his eyes widened when he saw how traumatised taehyung looked. 

their was blood oozing out his nose and blood all over his clothes, his eyes were red and teary. he looked so heartbroken. jungkook rushed towards them and crouched right next to taehyung. he looked at ryan and asked what happened. 

ryan looked at taehyung who closed his eyes and shook his head. ryan got the hint and sighed. 

"I should take him home" ryan whispered, helping taehyung up. jungkook got up as well and grabbed ryan's arm. 

"why is he not talking to me? who did this to him?" jungkook said, growing angry. 

"ryan talk to me, I can drop him off I will stay with him. you dont need to" the raven said, standing in front of them. 

"jungkook im saying this as your close friend so try not take this to heart but back off" ryan said, grabbing onto taehyung's arm to help him out the building. jungkook felt his heart ache watching them both walk away. what was he missing? 

what is going on? why is everyone keeping him out of the loop? he thought he and taehyung were closer than this? why is he not talking to me?
