The Fault In Romance

jungkook's pov:

after playing a few more songs the band had finished their mini concert and decided to end the night there. the loud cheers from people definitely filled my heart. we packed up afterwards and decided to join the crowd for some beer and drinks. 

I followed yoongi over to jimin at the table they were sat at. when they noticed us walking towards them they all stood up, my eyes immediately landing on taehyung who looked pretty nervous. you could tell it was not his scene. 

I pulled jimin and jin into a 'bro hug' to greet them before I made my way towards taehyung. I was going to hug him to greet him but since we dont know each other much I just decided to smile and say "hey taehyung, I did not think you would show up to something like this? what did you think?" I ask, watching as taehyung smiles and looks at him. 

"you have a very beautiful voice jungkook, I have never heard anything like it" taehyung replied, for some reason hearing that from him meant the world. 

"thank you for saying that, it means a lot to hear that" I reply, smiling as we all sit at the table. 

after ordering more drinks, jimin was obviously drunk. taehyung and I were the only ones who werent. 

"not a fan of beer?" he asks me, suddenly I turn to look at him. a little surprised he asked me a question. 

"sometimes I have it but I prefer fizzy drinks like coke and sprite to be honest. you?" I ask, looking at the drink in taehyung's hand that looked like coke. 

"same as you, never really liked alcohol" he smiled, and boy was his smile so beautiful. 

"okay lovebirds, it is time to do a cheers" jimin interrupted, grabbing onto his drink with two hands cause he was too drunk to do it with two. 

"to friendship" he cheered, all of us raising our glasses.

hours past and it was getting late, jimin was hella wasted and so was yoongi and jin. taehyung spent the past hour trying to convince jimin to buy him books, getting him to sign a paper stating that he owes 'kim taehyung four new books' so that when jimin sobers up, the male will have to take him book shopping. 

hearing the laughs between the two was always funny, I sat there and watched them joke around. taehyung always seems so shy and quiet around everyone but today I saw a very different side to him. that I like. 

"we should get them home" I say to taehyung who sighs and nods.

"how are we going to do it?" taehyung asked. 

"I have an idea" I replied and stood up. 

"you get jimin up and I will get yoongi and jin up. then follow me out the door" I instructed, taehyung followed quickly as we went out the door. we buckled them all into my car and I shut the door. 

"I will take them to mine, they can just sleep at mine tonight. do you want to come?" I ask, hoping he would say yes but felt disappointed when he shook his head. 

"a-ah its okay, I should get home" taehyung said, fiddling with his hands before he let out a little 

"oh" as if he realised something. 

"what?" I ask

"jimin drove here in his car, he drove me here" he whispered, looking at the ground. 

"do you know how to drive?" I ask and he nods. 

"here" I gave him jimin's keys that the male dropped from his pocket on the way out while taehyung was carrying him. 

"just stay at mine tonight, drive behind him and then jimin should sober up by tomorrow evening and you guys can leave then. If I am being honest I dont like the idea of you going home alone" I was a straight up person, never bended around the bush. I liked to say how I felt and be honest. 

taehyung shyly nodded and took the keys. 

"drive safe, and follow me" I reply, soon walking towards the drivers seat as taehyung walked towards jimin's car.

"you okay?" I ask taehyung when I get out the car, he was stood by jimin's car with his phone gripped in his hands. he nodded and I smiled. we both got them all inside just as it started to rain, I curse and quickly get jin inside as the rain grew heavier. 

"are your parents home?" taehyung asked, fiddling with his fingers again. 

"no they are staying at a family members place for the weekend" I reply shutting the door behind me as I lead jin into the lounge and placed him on the couch.
