The Fault In Romance

jungkook's pov:

as soon as I helped taehyung in the house I lead him upstairs and took him to my room, I grabbed some comfy clothes and turned around and lead the brunette into the bathroom. 

"the towels are under the sink, I will put these clothes for you to change into after your done. put your wet clothes into the basket" I say, and turn to see him shivering where he was standing. I felt my heart drop in worry when my eyes landed on his lips that looked so pale. 

I reach to turn the shower on and tell him to quickly hop in as I left the room, shutting the door behind him. I felt myself shivering when I went downstairs, looking at the windows to make sure the windows were all shut. 

I quickly walked to the lounge and went towards the fireplace, I put in the wood and watched as the fire started. I did a quick tidy up of the house and went onto my computer to pre-order some food for when my friends arrive. 

I plan on trying to convince taehyung to stay the night, he did seem unsure about it before but i will try talk to him. the others are meant to arrive in about an hour so he ordered dinner for around the same time. 

I sat on the couch for a while, my leg bouncing up and down as I anxiously wait for taehyung to come down. my mind going back to bubbleV's advice 'get to know him' 

'find out more about him' 

which is what I have been wanting to do for so long but I was not sure if taehyung even cared. since he seems so shy around me I did not want to make him feel uncomfortable. then again I thought that the only way to get him comfortable around me is for us to talk. 

so that was the goal today. 

I look towards the stairs when I hear foot-steps coming down, I smile and stand when taehyung walks towards the living room. my eyes scan his outfit, I gave him my favourite black and baggy jumper— paired with grey sweatpants. the clothes looked baggy on him but he looked so cute in my clothes. he had his arms wrapped around himself as he walked closer. 

"you feeling okay?" I ask as soon as I was stood in front of him. taehyung nodded but I could see how cold he still is, I wont lie it is freezing and very stormy outside. I grabbed his hand and lead him towards the fireplace. 

I let go out his hand for a second and moved the large bean bag closer to the fire place. once he sat on it, I sat in front of him. just on the carpet as I watch him relax a little more at the warmth. 

"I think it may be dangerous for you to go home right now" I whisper, watching as taehyung did not fight back and just nodded his head. 

"jimin and jin are coming over with their partners, they are also staying the night." I said, wanting to let him know in the hopes of him becoming more comfortable with it. 

"sounds good" taehyung whispered, giving a soft smile my direction which I wont lie— made my cheeks start to turn a little pink.

"I pre-ordered some pizza so we will have left overs for tomorrow. I have a gut feeling classes might be cancelled due to the weather" 

"look outside" I say, watching as taehyung turned his head a little to look out the windows, it was quite dark outside due to the dark clouds. I could see taehyung watching the leaves on the tree's as they thrashed back and forward. 

"what wild weather" taehyung muttered, soon turning back to the fireplace. my eyes never leaving his as I watched the warm fire light shine against his face. 

"has anyone told you that your beautiful?" I whisper, watching as the brunette's eyes widened as he looked at me. he seem awfully shocked at what I just said but I had to voice my thoughts out cause I cant make sense of how beautiful he looks. 

"a-ah, u-uhm" were the only things coming out of his mouth, it made me chuckle at how shy he was getting. my heart skipped a beat when I watched taehyung look towards the fireplace with a shy smile.

"I d-dont get told that very often" he musters up to say, looking at me briefly before turning his attention to the heat source. 

"that surprises me to be honest" I whisper

"do you tell everyone you meet this?" he asks, smiling. 

"no, just you" I reply back, noticing his surprised expression. 

I could tell taehyung was trying hard not to smile as he looked away. I cant help but laugh a little and decide to change the subject. 

"so what are you into?" I ask
