jungkook's pov:

I watched as taehyung finished cleaning the dishes. 

"I could of helped you" I said leaning against the kitchen bench as I watched taehyung put the last plate in its spot. 

"I am here to help you, I can completely okay to clean some dishes. also you were changing ara" taehyung smiled, folding the flannel and placing it on the bench. there was a knock at the door, I frowned and looked at taehyung who shrugged. I walked out the kitchen and went to the door. 

"what are you guys doing here?" I ask as soon as I see ryan, jimin, jin, yoongi and namjoon. 

"we were worried about where you guys were after the alarm stopped we were all sent home" ryan said, as we all walked into the lounge. 

"taehyung is in the kitchen if you wanna see him" I said to jimin and jin who gasped and headed straight towards it. 

I spent the next half hour explaining what had happened. the others were livid over what they heard, wondering how that even happened. 

"I know, thats what taehyung and I thought" I said

"thank god taehyung found her" ryan said, holding ara in his arms. 

"are you guys wanting to stay?" I ask

"as much as we all want to but since it is going to be another shit night we will have to go home. what are your plans now?" namjoon asked.

"dad was telling me that mum wont be able to work for a little bit so he will have to work overtime. I told him to not worry about ara, that I will take care of her. I told him he just needs to focus on mum and we will come visit."

"my dad called the school and had a very difficult argument with them about everything that happened, there will be written reports. the principal signed off on us bringing ara to school for the week. she will stick with me during classes and stuff, I have exemptions to leave the classes if I need to feed her and stuff."

"they are keeping a sickbay room free so we can use it to change her or if she needs a quiet room to sleep" I explained, my eyes on ara who was peacefully sleeping on ryan's chest. 

"have you met amber yet?" yoongi asked, looking at me as I shrugged and shook my head. 

"no? am I meant too?" I questioned, leaning back on the couch. 

"she is quite popular at the school now for a new girl. all the basketball players have met her but she keeps talking about wanting to meet you. I think she fancies you" yoongi said, I looked at ryan who's eyes landed on taehyung's. the brunette was on his phone, not paying attention. 

"I wont lie, i am sick of being asked about this girl. I dont get why she wants to see me" I said, its starting to get really annoying. 

"she keeps looking at your photo in the hallway, by the basketball shrine. she is obviously interested in you" namjoon said. 

I was about to say something but before I could they all said they should get going. I realised the time and stood up as well, ryan passed me ara as she was still asleep. when it was just taehyung and I in the lounge I sat next to him.

"you okay?" I ask him, he smiles and nods. 

"I know this may be a lot to ask but I have training tomorrow afternoon, is there anyway you could look after ara while I train for an hour and then we can go home?" I asked, hoping that taehyung would agree. it would take off a huge amount of pressure. I was not sure how I was going to juggle finishing my essay, watching ara, going to classes and being there for basketball training. 

"of course I can" taehyung replied, his eyes on ara who is now awake and staring back at taehyung. 

"did you want to go see your parents? for a little. I can stay here and watch ara?" taehyung offered. I thought about it for a bit and thought of things I can take to my dad, it was not a bad idea. 

"if you dont mind. I might take some of mum and dad's favourite things up there. I will be back in an hour, she has been fed and will need to be fed again in about 30 minutes since she just woke up from a nap" I said, handing taehyung ara who immediately gasped and ara who giggled. 

"are you sure your okay with this?" I ask, and watch as he nods. 

"okay I will be back"
