third person pov:

jungkook was sat on the couch, he had just woken up and was staring at taehyung who was laying on the hospital bed asleep. the raven was tired, he did not get much sleep last night. taehyung was up majority of the night in pain, the raven could not sleep until he knew taehyung was fast asleep. 

he was worried. the brunette is not eating much, they were meant to get the scans back today so jungkook was hoping everything is okay. he felt anxious about it, really anxious. ryan, jimin and jin are meant to pop in to see taehyung today. they are going to come around the afternoon. taehyung's parents are going to be here this morning.

'they should not be far off' jungkook thought. 

he was sat on the couch, a blanket in his lap as he watched taehyung. worried that any minute taehyung was going to wake up in pain. when the nurse walked in he stood up, he knew this was about the results. 

"mr jeon, how did you sleep?" the nurse asked, jungkook nodded muttering a little 'fine' before saying

"what are the results?"

"none of the injuries are widely serious. his bloods are fine, he has a lot of bruising and the one thing I am worried about is his leg" the nurse said

"his knee cap dislocated when he was thrown against the ground, he may have not noticed it because his face was in pain. with knee dislocations if you dont hear the pop as soon as you try to straighten your knee that is when you notice how must pain your in"

"his knee cap slid back in as soon as it popped out but there is significant bruising so it will take a couple of weeks until he can walk again. he will need physio to help strengthen his knee" jungkook nodded, he was making sure to pay attention to everything she was saying. 

"his bruising will go eventually but the more he rests the better. we will give medication for his headaches and knee pain. when you does groaning in pain it will be from his knee and head"

"what can I do when he starts to be in pain?" jungkook asked

"on his medication it will say the times of the day he will need to have it. only give him the headache medication when he gets one. make sure he is off his feet, he will need help getting changed and showering. if he has a headache, make sure there is no noise around him and the room he is in is dark" the nurse said. 

"will you be taking care of him?" the nurse asked. 

"I have to talk to his parents but I am planning to stay with him until he gets better anyways" jungkook replied. 

"when will he get to go home?" jungkook asked

"it really depends. since he has not broken anything and there is no internal bleeding he could go home tomorrow. we are saying that cause his headaches will be severe, it is hard to control the noise here but if he is at home it will be easier to do so" 

"I have to go back but I will come in a bit later and talk to mr kim's parents" the nurse said, handing me a envelope of taehyung's health report. when the nurse left I put the envelope in my bag to give to taehyung's parents later. 

hours passed and taehyung was still asleep, when taehyung's parents arrived he was still asleep. jungkook spent the time they arrived to fill them in on everything, he gave them the envelope for taehyung's results. 

"as soon as you called us we both burst into tears, we were so worried. thank you jungkook for being there for him" mrs kim whispered pulling jungkook into a tight hug. the raven smiled and hugged back. 

"I always will be" he replied, shaking mr kims hand also. 

"taehyung was telling me a few days ago that your guys were away for business and how it was very important" jungkook mentioned watching as the two nodded. 

"yeah, we try not to worry taehyung much but we got a business opportunity that could give us a lot of money to send him to his dream college. we have been trying to keep it a secret but with this happening, it was important for us to be there so we can get that business proposal" mr kim said

"he would be so happy to go to his dream college" jungkook whispered. 

"how long were you guys meant to be out of korea?" jungkook asked

"two more weeks" she said 

"is there a chance you guys can go back" the raven asked

"we cant, knowing taehyung is in so much pain. we cant leave him here" mrs kim said, tears welling in her eyes. 

their voices were low trying their best to be quiet. 

"let me take care of him, I will stay at yours with him and take care of him" jungkook offered. 

"we cant let you do that son, as his parents its our job to look after him" mr kim said

"I completely get that but your already taking care of him if you go on your business trip, you will be taking care of his future. its my job now to take care of him, I am planning to stay with him even if you guys dont go" jungkook said, he was being honest. 

mr and mrs kim chuckled, they both looked at each other and sighed. 

"let us think about it and we will let you know" mrs kim said, jungkook smiled and nodded. 

"I will let you guys have some time with him. I have to go home and pack my bags to take to your guys place" jungkook said, giving them both a hug before he left.
