The Fault In Romance

jungkook's pov:

today was the day that I get to take taehyung home. it took so much convincing when I got back to the hospital yesterday to convince taehyung's parents to go back to their business trip and let me take care of taehyung. 

it was the perfect chance for me to show taehyung and his parents I can take care of the brunette. also if I am being honest, I only trust myself to take proper care of taehyung. no one else. I know if I am not with him I will spend the whole time worrying. 

taehyung got to spend a lot of time with his parents yesterday before they went back, he had no idea why his parents were having to go back but when the male heard I would stay with him he seemed very relieved. jimin, jin and ryan could not come yesterday cause taehyung ended up falling asleep in the afternoon. 

so they agreed to meet up at the house later once taehyung is settled. I thought it ended up working out better anyways. there was a wheelchair already by the door and all the bags I bought were packed and in the car. I made sure we had everything before I headed back to get taehyung. 

he had a knee brace over his knee to prevent his knee cap from sliding out again. when I walked back into the room my eyes landed on taehyung who was sat at the edge of the hospital bed, his bruises still on his face the redness was gone though. 

"ready to go my love?" I asked taehyung who slowly nodded. the raven smiled and placed sunglasses over the males eyes. I got him to place my arms around my shoulder as I placed my hands under his thighs. I was careful as I placed him onto the wheelchair. 

I placed noise canceling headphones onto taehyung's ears before we left the room. once he was in the car and buckled in. I folded up the wheelchair that he had no idea it was possible until a nurse showed him. 

"lets go home" I said as soon as I got into the car. 

"yes please" taehyung whispered.

"where do you wanna go first?" I questioned, taehyung in my arms as I wait for him to instruct me on where to put him. 

"the couch please" he whispers, even him talking loud can give him a headache. as soon as I placed him down I shut all the curtains in the living room. 

"I will bring the bags in and be right back" I said as I quickly went to the car to grab the bags and brought them all in. I quickly unpacked everything and soon heard a frustrated yell from downstairs and quickly dropped what I was doing and rushed downstairs. 

"tae!" I called out as soon as I went into the lounge I saw his head was in his hands and he was rubbing his forehead, my eyes landed on a book that was on the floor. I sat in front of him and slowly pulled down his wrists from his face. 

"what's wrong love" I asked, his sad eyes meeting mine. 

"I c-cant read. it is g-giving me a headache. I c-cant w-watch tv cause of the noise, I c-cant r-read cause it gives me a headache. I d-dont know w-what I can do" taehyung was getting frustrated and I understood why. I picked up his book and told him to lay down on the couch. 

I made sure he was tucked in before I sat on the floor next to the couch. 

I opened the book up to where taehyung last read and started to read. I made sure my voice was quiet, I turned to look at him now and then as I watched the beautiful smile on his face fade the more I read. I noticed he was falling asleep, I knew his energy is going to be very low so he may sleep a lot. 

when he was deep asleep I quietly got up and walked upstairs, continuing on with unpacking taehyung's things and cleaning up his room. making sure there were fresh and clean sheets on his bed. putting extra blankets on his bed so he will be warm. a storm was on its way so I know it will be cold. 

I planned to get some take out tonight, run taehyung a hot bath and get him all tucked in and warm into bed. that was my plan, the more he rested the better. 

also I need to make sure he has his medication. our friends were meant to be here in about three hours so it gives me time to clean up and for taehyung to rest as much as he can. taehyung is really looking forward to seeing everyone but I know he is worried about getting a headache or feeling tired so I told him that if he ever needs to leave to ruffle his own hair twice. my eyes are always on him so it wont be hard to miss.

when the others finally arrived I let them in and got them to wait at the entrance. after I shut the door I made sure they were all quiet. I gave them a heads up on taehyung's conditions, letting them know that they need to be as quiet as possible. when they talk whisper. I did tell them that his energy is really low so he may not be able to hang out for long. 

luckily none of them got offended by it as they already had an idea he would be like this. after they all walked into the lounge and gave taehyung a hug we were all sat in the lounge talking. we all have never been so quiet in a room before. I could tell taehyung really appreciated how quiet they were trying to be. 

I sat on the couch and watched as taehyung talked with jimin and jin, catching up while me and ryan were sat on the couch. 

"you worried?" ryan asked me, taking me out of my own thoughts. 

"yeah, I am. even though I am with him, if I go out to get food or go for a shower I worry about him. I shower now when he is alseep" I replied, my eyes not leaving taehyung. 

"he is lucky to have you kook, your doing well" 

"thanks ry. it is going to be hard looking after him and battling training for the game" I whispered, not wanting taehyung to hear me. 

"we will figure something out, I am sure jimin and jin would not mind watching him for a few hours. he would be sleeping majority of the time your at training anyways" ryan replied. 

"yeah your right" I whispered. an hour passed and I could tell taehyung was getting really tired, I saw how hard he was trying to keep himself awake. as soon as I saw him ruffle his hair I stood up. 

"I should probably get taehyung to take a nap now, or I will be in-trouble with the nurses" I said, leaning down by taehyung to lift him up in my arms. 

"s-sorry guys" taehyung whispered against my chest. 

"dont apologies tae, we are glad to see you. we expected for it to be five minutes but you lasted in hour. it is great news tae. rest up and we will come by and visit soon. love you tae" jimin whispered pecking taehyung's hair before heading towards the door. jin said his byes before ryan stood in front of them. 

his hand brushed taehyung's hair from his face as he left a small peck on his forehead. 

"I will come drop off some food tomorrow, rest up tae" ryan said before he left aswell. I took taehyung upstairs and placed him on his bed, I wrapped him up in warm blankets and did not need to shut the curtains as I did so when I was unpacking. 

"thanks gguk" taehyung whispered soon falling asleep. I stayed with him in the room for a little while until it got closer to dinner time. I knew I needed to make something that will full him up for dinner. I wanted it to be quick cause I needed to be with him.
